Has it been suggested that RA be seperated from TA? I always thought thatd help the whole glad points thing. Its far too late to reset the glad points obviously.
Anyways, I really don't think we need more emotes. /sign? no, the other one.

I agree with your analysis, but I think there is another dimension to it other than simply one takes more skill than the other. Rank has been in the game from day 1, while the Gladiator title came a year later with the addition of Factions. That means we've had more than twice as long to work on rank as glad points. Judging from your table above (which seems reasonable to me from my experiences in game) a player who took two years to get, say, rank6, is approximately the caliber of player that could get rank2 gladiator in a year. What this means is that, had the two titles been implemented together from the beginning, they would be more equal than they are now. Heck, look at the numbers; most of the comparisons are from RX Gladiator to R(2X) Hero. Seems like there's a definite time element involved here.
Add into this equation the fact that HA has slowed down in recent months, meaning that many players have slowed or stopped gaining fame, meaning there are more low leveled Heros than there "should" be (if the fame gaining had followed a natural progression from Day 1), and I'd say that the skill separation of gaining rank1 Glad to rank3 Hero isn't as bad as you paint it.

This was by far.... BY FAR, the most hilarious comment I got tonight. It was even better than Random's.
If you seriously think kid that you can go into TA and get 10 conseq by random chance than just try it, ok? Pick you some pugs, get what you think is going to be an AMAZING team. (In your case probably SF Ele's and a Divert Hexes Monk). Tell me when you get to 10 wins. What you HA scrubs don't realize is that TA isn't about LUCK. It's about the SKILL of your TEAM unlike HA where you can have 2 complete Nubs run a SF build and reign victorious, xD.
4v4 devotes a lot more specialized skill than an HA build so get your panties out of a wad and stop responding to our post.

Even the Heroes agree. I loved this quote from a true Hero. Not you criers over the loss of an emote that have Deers.

Look, the truth of the matter A.Net if you're reading this, is that there is obviously going to be an on-going fued about this subject. Why not please everybody? If you like the idea of the different color coded ranking system than do something but stop this ongoing constant fued between the real PvPers and HAers.
Give us an emote...
We deserve it as much or more than they do. Give us a whole new emote system. Don't degrade us to red deers, wolves, and tigers that the HA system has been limited to.
We devised a different form of "team" that the HAers do not understand in TA, which is obvious. Why do these guys that get constantly rolled in TA get an awesome emote while we're limited to titles. C'mon A.Net does that makes any sense or are you seriously going to start taking the arenas that YOU put into play into more consideration? It's unfair and it's unfavored.
Change something...

Im r4 glad, just by going from time to time to TA or RA, and to think that it equals the amout of work/time it takes to people to get a tiger emote, well not really.
And other thing calling people names and such wont help to get your (terrible by the way) point across.

Anyone who thinks this is delirious. TA places more emphasis on an individuals player skill than any other form of pvp.
One person playing sub par in TA will cost you the match, they make up 25% of the team which is too much. It is not AS noticable in other forms of pvp.
EDIT: Btw, to get a decent "glad emote" from being a high ranked glad you would be doing it in TA so you can pretty much stop talking about RA. It is inefficient to get glads from RA in comparison, think of it as HAing with pugs....

eh.. r1 glad is more like r5 hero. some basic math for you guys to hopefully end the offtopicness >.<
rank 3 hero min. wins 13 in a row
rank 9 hero min. wins ~ 110 wins in a row
rank 10 hero min. wins ~ 190 wins in a row
rank 1 glad min 250 wins in a row
this implies r1 glad is about equivalent to rank 10 hero which it is not: Arena wins do not get harder per win. So, being extremely lenient, lets count a 10 streak in RA/TA about the equivalent of a 3 streak in HA (this, anyone who's played both will know, is pretty lenient, 4-5 would be more accurate)
rank 3 hero min wins ~ 90 wins
rank 4 hero min wins ~ 180 wins
rank 1 glad min wins ~ 250 wins
rank 5 hero min wins ~ 300 wins
considering that non-3 streaks for HA net fame and non 10 streaks in RA/TA do not net gladiator points, we're talking Gladiator 1 more accurately beingabout rank 5.5.
Note: I'd like to point out that a rank 3 made ENTIRELY of 1 streaks is still easier to attain than a gladiator rank 1 made entirely of 10 streaks. This is very relevent given the emotes for hero start at r3
Also I dont think I need to explain why champion surpasses both. A 1200+ rating match surely means about an HoH battle win after a very large streak (up to 40 fame) making for the equivalent of 1000 fame or rank 6

I think this is a great idea.
Different people enjoy different aspects of the game, we shouldnt be saying "You dont play the same form of pvp as me therefore you are inferior." I personally play TA a lot, I enjoy the fact that each individual player has to pull his weight and work as a team or you will surely fail. Ive been in HA pugs where you can tell people are just not helping at all yet the team can still win if the rest of the players are good.
I dont see how this would effect HA players, all it does it give people who enjoy a different part of the game some form of reward equal to what other areas gives (Even then HA would get a lot more in terms of rewards. Drops, obs, winning team announced etc)
