monk henches need fixed
Please anet make the Monks stop healing Minions. Theres no point in it, thats the MMS job and they waste time and energy on minions. I lost the chance for survivor yesterday because the healer let me die to save my minions.
so what are your thoughts and please /sign /unsigned

when you have an MM in party, you should NEVER bring any *monk* henchies or heroes. You should have known that before u killed urself. but, nonetheless, it is a pain in the ass, so sure.

What? I usually bring two monks and a MM hero.
And the monks almost never heal the minions, they usually do so when the party is idle and the rest of the allies are at full health.
Something more mst have happened, probably they focused in other character.

They are always doing that. They also keep putting prot spells on them outside of battle as well, complete waste all round. Would deffinately be nice to see this changed.

Henchies have a priority when choosing which targets to heal. I'm pretty sure characters always have a higher priority than minions, which means that the henchies just used the healing to save another henchie or character that has higher priority than you. They generally only heal minions out of battle to keep them alive and let the MM do a little less work.

yea i kinda like my monks healing minions, my hero monk has a great synergy build so she can heal way more then my mm so out side of battle she kkpes miniions alive, and like was said before monks take priority on players over minons so i dont know how in the hell you managed to get less priority then a minion.....

I like alesia, she runs into battle to face the evils of the world, then runs back, bringing so many new friends to play with. She is a party kinda girl.
The one (i forget her name) on shing jea is worse though. She heals everyone except the player. And then wants to run into the fray and rez if somone dies (except the player) which aggros more crap onto you usually.
On the brighter side at least she doesnt talk all the time like rurik.

The problem isnt with them healing the minions outside of battle, the problem occurs when combat starts and the damn hench monks are low on energy or out of energy from healing the minions. I found that disabling Orison of healing outside of combat prevents them from healing the minions. That of course is only effective for heroes and not hench.
The whole res priority thing needs work as well.
I'd like to see them take a hard look at all hench and Hero AI, like the fact that Ele heroes constantly cast elemental attunements when combat isnt going on, same for rangers/nature rituals & Ritualists/spirits. Very annoying and a huge waste of energy.

If hero/hench monks are set to not heal minions it probably means that as a result a MM hero will not heal his own minions either.

I don't have a problem with then healing my minions. If my Heroes run out of energy healing minions, then they run out of energy all the time. So I found a build the rarely runs out of energy.
My monks have about 40-45 energy, after 10 minutes with them healing minions they will only be around 25-30 and still ready for action.
The biggest problem I have with my monks is that they will stand in front of me and will run out to attack the enemy first. It happens every now and then that I will be waiting for something and my monks wont. They will run out and die by aggro. Part of the reason for the aggro is that they stand out in front of my tank and get hit first. What are they doing out infront? In high level areas, they often die before I can pull off the enemy.

The problem is mainly on hero monk, as far as i remember. They tend to heal minions, while henchies actually don't. When i bring hero MM's, i usually dont take hero mm, unless its good from a "mission"/strategic point of view. (heroes follow the player, henchies follow the party leader, which can make a big difference.
