Armor Colors
I searched thoroughly, so I'm prety sure this suggestion hasn't been made.
First, I'd like to say that Guild Wars is probably the best, most interesting, and the most well-balanced games I've ever played. It's done extremely well and gets rid of the annoyances you find in so many other MMORPGs.
The one suggestion I'd like to make, however, is that dye would have more effect on certain armors. Especially some of the earlier Elementalist armors, which, upon being dyed, are still almost completely grey. I like that you can dye the trim of the armor, but the base armor color really needs to be changed, too. It's rather dissapointing to dye some new armor you worked for only to find out it's still grey. Also, other armor (such as some Ritualist armors) have brown parts that always stay brown, and don't look very good in contrast with just about any dye color, making it very hard to choose colors.
Basically, my suggestion is for an option of dying the base armor and also the trim of the armor. It would make more interesting and unique armor, while geting rid of the grey completely.

At least the dye preview window stops you from wasting the dye now.
I can see where you're coming from Raziel, but I think in general that armour should keep some of its original elements. I'm all for individuality, but rather than being able to dye the base colour (which I fear would lead to some people running around in a lot of bright, harsh colours) just work with what you have: try armour and dye combos to get the best result. I for one take notice in-game of other people's armour and if I think it looks good - I'll tell them. People who play those classes (or read the wiki) will know the armour and its limitations so they'll think more of your character if you've done a good job in working with what you have - imo, anyway.

There is already a suggestion about dying improvement, so more areas are added to certain armors...
Here it is:

That should not only fix the issue you complain about, but add additional features that everyone would like in armor.

you should not just dye the base armor or the trim of it but when you dye it a window will pop up with that armor peice in it and you can dye and part of it (e.g. you can make, for example pyromancers armor look like a zebra by dying the flames black and white)

ya i always thought this too. like my idea was just put in the die preview box a thing that would say "dye1, dye2" dye one beeing rimed parts or extremeties and stuff, and dye 2 being the base color of the part of the gear you wearing. its pretty simple to integrate in the game and lets people look cooler. one more complaint i had was with some mesmer clothing, you can die it red but it just looks like a dark slightly redish brown, whats up with that? when i want something red, i want it blood red!
