For those who say Conjure is worthless, ANet actually just buffed the conjure skills recently.
"Conjure Lightning/Frost/Flame: increased damage to 10..25."
For the heckuvit I put together a R/E Conjure Flame/RtW/Dual Shot build for Random Arena this past weekend, got some massive damage going. Maybe there was a better way but I liiiiked it. What's nice, is precisely because it's an enchantment, it can stack with preparations.
I too wouldn't mind having a Conjure Dirt, for symmetry's sake at the least.

hmmm since there are earth based weapons it would make them more potent and do more damage like the other conjures do. An ebon bow with conjure earth and barrage would be interesting.

Well from the way I see it, they cannot implement Conjure Earth.
Earth magic has always been defensive, now with a few exceptions in recent updates.
Most ?/E use a conjure because of the added damage, now, think of this.
W/E:
+50 Armour from "Armour Of Earth"
+22 Damage from "Conjure Earth"
Just from 2 simple spells, you have a pretty damn effective Tank. Now for a game that tries to create balance, having a high defence, high attack powered tank, with very little side-effects is going to be spammed to high heaven.
Now saying that, I think it is unfair that we have Ebon upgrades and no way to utilise them to more of an advantage.

Why not have conjure earth cause the foe struck fall down or be blinded by the dust. A Duster Barrage R/E. Maybe the animation was too hard for the dev.

I think you're forgetting about the armor of earth's side effect of that yo can no longer chase anyone. A W with a massive dmg increase that can't move after a target that runs away is not going to upset game balance in the slightest. So they take stoneflesh aura or something *shrug* this is what enchant removal is for.

Fertile season:Throw fruit at your enemy?
Scavenger strike: How to kill a dead opponent
Meteor shower:how to pummel your opponent in one hit with meteors moving thousand of miles per hour.. OH NO HE GOT BACK UP!!!!
etc etc
Edit: And of course my fav is decapitate. That sure makes sense to live through that.

Actually, Conjure Flame is used quite a lot in pressure builds. Especially when you have an MoRodgort+MindBlast and SF backing you up.
The +dmg and the fact that you add burning when the eles spam Mark is difficult to negate.
Obs some GvGs you will see it being used quite regularly. Now that they have been buffed a little.

Welll just in case someone consider Conjures are useless...
Try to use conjure Fire with Barrage and Mark of Rodgort ...
Pretty funny...
Maybe they add it in GW:EN.
I would add the conjures a little % of dealing the element associated condition:
- Water: Slowdown.
- Air: Blindness
- Fire: Burning
- Earth: Weakness
Now... see the Energy Storage linked weapons? What damage they sualy deal? Yes... CHAOS!
Add a conjure CHAOS to Energy Storage! XDDD

Only if they made them elite.
Kinda makes incendiary arrows pointless as well as a flash tower.
Heck these things will be more powerful than BSurge!

Just remmber tha chaos, unlicke Holy damage is not always armor ignoring.
It would be like using Judge's Insight without the 20% penetration, no special armor, but no armor ignoring.
And earth is not armor ignoring. There are insignia both against all elements and against earth element.

Conjure Earth could exist, as Earth also equals gravity/kinetic. Like kinetic armor, you see.
Soo you could have "conjure kinetism": "for 60 secs, if you're wielding an earth weapon, you deal +1...25 Earth damage"
Don't know how to call it.

You people shouldn't be thinking about what makes sense or not you should be thinking how it would affect the game.
Conjure earth - 10 e, 1 cast, 30 recharge
x-y damage for a-b seconds
Grasping earth - 5 e, 3/4 cast, 12 recharge
Nearby enemies move 50% slower for x seconds
Conjure earth + grasping earth = Linebacker that does a shwack of extra damage.

I have to agree. Why no conjure earth?
I have a sneeking suspision its because of some daft idea it would unbalance PvP! As per usual, when something effects PvP its nerfed or removed, regardless of effects on PvE.
I could be wrong, but thats my opinion.
