Visual effects
This game is about as exiting to watch as a card game with a bunch of hallows, the environment looks cooler than the in game effects. So over a long time I have thought of a lot of cool visual effects.
Warrior: Because they dont really dont use anything beyond their own physical limitations a ghostly after image of them using the skill with other minute effects like a bright red or orange stripe along the hitting part of the weapon could be used.
Ranger: Seeing the wind in a sort of lifestream-like appearance fly out of your arrows would be cool. Also more effects like Troll Urgent.
Caster effect in general: Visible energy use. Like if a spell takes 5 energy, 5 small balls of energy colored to the class (mesmers are purple and necros are green, etc.) and draw the corresponding symbol of the spell. 25 energy would use 25 balls etc.
Monk: Their visible energy fly into the sky, light from the sky shines down on the target and the effect takes place.
Mesmer: As an epitome of elegance and chaos the visible energy of a mesmer flys out in a randomized techno pattern resembling circuitry into the symbol.
Necromancer: A visualization of their soul being siphoned into the energy needed. Like if a smokey layer (your soul) is being pinched into small plumes.
Elementalist: Varies per element:
Fire:Swirls into place glowing brighter as it creates the symbol.
Air:Stands in place or a split second then jolts into place.
Earth:Turns "solid" and falls to the base of the target.
Water:Pops into water or ice to create the symbol.
Assassin: Melee attacks are similar to that of a warrior but the after image is shadowy with a dark reddish purple outline. Shadow steeping is the after image (like a melee attack) rushing towards a target. Visual Energy rises from the shadow(base) of the assassin and flys at the target.
Ritualist:Smoke gathers and makes the visual energy.
Dervish:Melee is like a warrior but the "ribbon" is a dark teal and has holes in it similar to the way the stance Conviction is portrayed. Magic varies per type but the way they are doing things now is fine it just needs to be brighter and more pronounced.
Paragon: Spear attacks are like a ranger but are gold colored and leave golden feathers in their wake. Songs have the spear wind effect around effected targets.
Hexes and enchantments in general: After the energy is called and the symbols are drawn the symbol breaks up(like glass) and flys at the target to reform a ball with the image of skill(the same on the casters skill bar) inside of it floating with the enchantment/hex ring as usual. An enchantment/hex being broken or ending naturally would "rot" and fall to the ground and fade away.
Note-The actual animation of skills and other things will be sped up or slowed down with to match the casting time of the skill.
Conditions:
Weakness: The bone structure of the afflicted flashes with a satin like glow. Imagine getting a cut out of your character and cut out their bone structure and hang it up. Get a sheet of beige satin and flag it around. thats what I'm thinking of but it flashes on and off.
Bleeding: as is but brighter colors.
Everything else: as is.
I actually have effects already thought out for pretty much everything. Name a skill (even hexes and their effects) and I tell you what I thought of.

try running in low visual mode for awile then switch back to high. you would be surprised what the difference is. For lower end computers this could be bad. Slower connections would lag as well. Now for DSL and better users with the alienware uber godbox computers it will be a beautiful thing.
anywho
/signed my computers just fine :P

GW uses more sparks and fogs.
Attacks are simple and plain.
No need for exaggeration.
