Minion Count
I'm pretty sure this hasn't been posted before so here is one of my ideas for the minions in GW. I would like to see a minion count thing in the game, telling me how many minions I have of each kind. So for example if i had 1 flesh golem, 8 bone fiends, and 1 bone horror, something that shows I had all those in separate would be really helpful. Instead of just lumping all of the minions together into one little icon telling you how many you have in all. 3 icons could be up, each telling you which minion you have animated and how many of them.

this could be useful because you cant alway tell whats died and what your missing during a fight.

Yup, they could be like Spirits.
The bar would be the 'average' health of that type of minion.
So a Flesh Golem effect icon would show the real health of the Flesh golem.
But a Bone Horror effect icon would show the sums of their healths/their number or just nothing at all.

really really like this idea, because in the heat of battle don't always know which ones have died and need to be replaced, especially if there are two mm's in the group

Look at your screen, its easy to tell. In the heat of battle, just make minions like crazy, who cares what you make, just keep minions going.

Yeah, and you kill shambling horrors instead jagged horrors, and kill the Flesh Golem when you don't want to, and in seconds, thanks to the Soul Reapin nerf, you end up without energy and without minions.
In Normal mode there is no much problem. But in hard mode you need to control your minions like with scalpel.

thank you for that.
Being a simple minion factory doesnt work. you have to pay attention to what you are doing if you wish to keep energy and more powerful minions going. simply spamming minions doesnt work. esp with the SR nerf.

There are also more strategic builds revolving around controlling Minions besides mass-producing Minion Masters.
/signed (in addition to the many other minion tracker --window suggestion-- which could be opened by clicking on your minion icons)

Maybe instead of a million icons for those MMs who have a wider array of minions, a little window that lists each type of minion and number.
I don't have a necro myself, though to some extent I know it's a huge burden to support minions. Plus, this feature would just add a little polish to GW. Any tiny addon to make the game feel more, well, full, is welcome in my book.

This will be helpful even if it seemed a lil pointless in the fact that MM can look at the screen to find out which are still there and which aren't(this is true when not in combat. In combat, it isn't as simple as the minions do scatter to attack whatever they like)
better micromanagement ftw

Especially for Flesh Golems. In a big battle its sometimes hard to see if you already have 1 up.

They could have a black frame, and that effect icon frame could be used in Spirits with offensive effects, such as Bloodsong, Pain or Destruction.

Even more I want that:
If you click the icon you select the first minnion (of that type)
Click it again you select the next one, and so on and so forth.
It is such a major pain that the is no way to scroll through minions.
They are unaffected by target next/nearest ally neither are spirits.
Target previous would be nice to have too especially if you have 1 minnions to scroll through so that could be right click on the minion icon.
You HAVE to click the things, who are always moving about and getting in the way of the one you want to klick.
Shambeling horrors and Flesh golem are bit better because they are bigger and easyer to spot where to clik, still other minnions do all they can to get in the way, causing the waste of ever so precious time clicking your minnions.
Same goes for spirits they all spawn on top of eachother making them just as big a pain to select, and as much a waste of time.

Just give us a way to select the damned things more easily..... And fix the energy cost of the Fiends too (it is far too high compared to the others).
But yeah... differentiated icons would be cool.
Admittedly though, I just leave the MMing to Olias irrespective of the situation. AI has far better concentration for things like that anyway.
And once I get Razah unlocked I'm gonna have him as a Rt/N Minion Bomber too.... for double the fun.
And trust me here.... Minion Bombers would benefit at least fivefold as much as Minion Masters do from the ability to select specific minions and identify which ones are at what level of health.

Anything to help micromanage an MM is okay in my book. Minion bombing is so much harder since they don't respond to any of the "Target ___" keys. I don't need a party screen, just an easier way to keep track of what I have alive and which ones I'm targeting.
