I think since Tyria(spider generally) and Cantha(phoenix) has one, Elona should have a some kind of pet only accessible in one place in the GW world such as spider and phoenix.

Elona's could be a dragon hatchling, full maned lion, or, an interesting african based mythical creature. a large Cheetah could be good as well

For that matter, make one for GWEN too. a Wurm pet? not quite so large, but maybe 3/4 reduction in size and power? another choice would be a ghost creature since the catacombs are back.

Spider is core, not Prophecies. Factions is the only campaign with an 'endgame' pet.

Factions has a lvl 20 ready pet to cap... it does require you to do a series of objectives in order to get it though.
So in that pov neither Tyria n or Elona have a lvl 20 ready pet

Factions should be the only one, since it is the only one atm... spider is a core one that you can get in nightfall, so if you want one, get it in FoW in nightfall.

Tyria has no Level 20 pets to capture, and the 'latter' one is the Level 5 Dune Lizard.
Cantha has the Black Moa (Always level 20) and the level 5 Phoenixes in the endgame.
Elona has the Level 5 Hyenas in the Desolation.

I would make, along with the spiders in UW, make Black Moas appear in the Fissure, and add Level 20 pets after quests in Tyria and Elona, one around Maguuma (it could be a black panther), and one around Vabbi (it could be a white crocodile).

would be a nice idea but i think they must put a monkey( monkeys FTW ) in the maguuma jungle, some kind of baby wurm( ore something like that ) in ring of fire, and maybe a mandragor in elona that you can tame but has half the power of the normal mandragor.

yea i think the pets in HM should be buffed too, cause it is sad to fight all lvl 28's and see a lowly lvl 3, 1 it would solve this problem and 2 no more easy kills in HM

Nice idea. Level 20 pets in hard mode. Harder to tame, too.

I wouldn't mind getting a level 20 pet in HM, but it would be too easy. I think that there should be a big quest (like the black moa) in Tyria and Elona for a level 20 pet. Too bad this probably won't happen.

I think having tameable lvl20 pets in HM are a great idea. A drawback is that you won't get to evolve your pet.

2 choices - capture a lvl20 pet (like the moa)
or get a pet in normal mode and get it to whichever evolution suits you best

I love my dire hiena (his name is Jelly, I feed him Terrorweb Dryders)..

as for the OP.. If you had tameable endgame pets in Elona you'd have to do the same thing in Tyria..

Something African for Elona? I'd go for Elephant or Rhino.. I can just see one of those pull [skill]Enraged Lunge[/skill] off.

End game type pet for Tyria? I'd go for something like a black panther (nice idea MithranArkanere).. A snake would also be cool.. Or what about a polar bear that randomly spawns somewhere in the Southern Shiverpeaks, like in Mineral Springs? Or maybe as a reward for completing "Defend Droknar's Forge", that way you'd have to finish Prophecies to get one

well, a pet that would be difficult to get would be considered "designer" or " elite" or even an status thing like the spider from the UW were before NF since it were the only place to get one.

those types of pets would be good.
