New Lesser Title for Vanquisher
I love the idea of the Vanquisher title, but I'm not so thrilled with HM at the moment.
I cleared almost all of Old Ascalon just to realize I didn't have enough juice left to kill the Grawl Monks. 2+hours, 175+ enemies dead and had to restart. That was frustrating as hell and has made me think twice about clearing other areas in HM.
So I propose a new lesser title for clearing entire areas in Normal Mode.
This new title would give me hours and hours of fun without the frustration and would help earn some new titles.
Anyone else think this is a good idea?
Please understand I'm NOT asking them to take anything away, I'm NOT asking them to make HM easier.

Nice enough idea, not sure if peopel will go for it, obviously some areas will be very easy, but there are many difficult areas later on, however without the added implication of being chucked out the area when the party goes to 60dp, they probably wont go for this, simply because of the ability to slog through a very difficult area at the 60dp killing everything. I know this is possible as when i started my mesmer i did that to uncover map, and find towns, this was my first character with vry little skills and experience, and before factions came out too.
/signed, for the nice idea
though not sure hwo they would implement it

This is already implemented, it's called the "explorer" title.

That title is for exploring not killing. Runners with explorer haven't killed every monster in the zone on normal they just ran past them.

I'm not sure I like this. How would this relate to Vanquisher?
If I have to clear all areas in normal mode before I get to Vanquisher, then /notsigned.
If I have a choice to clear either normal mode or hard mode... and I get a title either way... I'd find it really redundant... since now I would then go through areas THREE times (already did for explorer, now clearing for HM, and to get yet another title, I'd have to clear it AGAIN?!) For those already doing HM, I think it diminishes the effort they put in for Vanquisher.

I was thinking it could be a separate title.
How would this diminish Vanquisher? Does having Protector of Tyria diminish the Guardian of Tyria title? Not really. I wouldn't want it to be called Vanquisher, maybe call it Conqueror or something that isn't already used. You could even call it Noob Title, I don't care, I just think it would be fun.
Also, nobody said you had to visit the area yet again. You could *gasp* not do it.

Sorry Angel but I agree with Amorfati87, having a lower form of a title doesn't make the higher one less admirable.
Having people going around with a title saying i defeated every foe on the map in normal mode is a good idea.
Whether or not someone goes for it or likes it, is no reason to say it shouldn't be there. Many titles are redundant or pointless.
Sweet tooth and Drunkard, are totally pointless, as is Unlucky.
Lucky was pointless when it was introduced, though it does now have a function.
Treasure hunter and Wisdom titles were pointless at the start, all they showed was how lucky you were in getting golds or how much money you may have spent of opening chests.
Many titles involved people going through the same thing again, but for those starting out on a charcter they could do thing at the same time,
This title would be easy to attain with others, You can do Survivor, and Explorer at the same time, and like these titles, as well as Protector, Guardian, and Vanquisher, shows some skill and a certain achivment not dependent on luck or gold aquired but on skill in making a team capable of dealing with every foe on a map, but just at a lower end of the game.
I emphatically believe that this is the most sensible request for a new title in the game, it follows in line with others, and could be addapted to work like Protector and Guardian, giving you a legendary title upon completing it on all 3 chapters in both normal and hard mode

If you can't do it in HM, then you don't deserve a title. Maybe having some more difficult titles will encourage the general population to suck less.

On that basis, and logically, you are therefore arguing that the protector title should be abolished as it is in normal mode and not in hard mode. It is also implied by your statement that all titles should only be achievable in hard mode.
Is this what you truly think?
and if so then you are elitist and unreasonable, you may as well suggest the abolition of normal mode
