But thats the point! With guildwiki, you know exactly where they are, and most are within 2 minuts of an outpost. Its as quick as getting a hero/hench team together, doing a quick run or kill fest to the location and opening the treasure.

Some are admittadly in more obsecure places, that are hard to get to! But most are extremely easy to find. Its 0 effort at all to get to them and open them and as Dougal said, the gold reward is quite substancial!

Whats the alternative?

Farming creatures for around 100-200g each a drop, which you then have to share with your team. I would give it a go to find the treasures, because...

1) you dont share the loot with your team.
2) it will take at most about 2-5 minutes to reach most.

..it is your choice mind, but Id say its worth it if you really need some gold! Im happy just doing HM missions myself and raking in the 5k you make from each one on average.

I've never noticed if the chests spawn in HM.

The keyless chests were put in place for casual players to be able to make some gold for fixed price items.

With the new Loot Scaling, I feel that it would really benefit Tyria and Cantha to have Treausre Chests, Buried Treasure, and Do Not Touch spread out among the 2 continents.

Ands there is a lot of potential to flesh out some more of the lore with them being placed there.
