Lockpick Suggestion
Here is my suggestion for lockpicks and lucky/unlucky titles.
Besides your standard reward for lockpickWhy not add if u unlock 3 or 5 chests in a row with no lockpick breaking then u get 5000 or 10000 bonus to lucky title
If u break 3 or 5 picks in a row you get 500 or 1000 bonus to unlucky title

Would that be in the same area or until you log out?

Maybe make it 3 in the same area and if you have a streak of 5 or 6 (after zoning) you get another bonus. Finding more then 3 chests in a single area can be tricky

hopefully until you log out, as sometimes there aren't more than maybe 2 chests in an area making it useless =/
edit: maybe make the counting thingy reset after every 10 chests or so? to prevent abuse of people never signing out or something
/signed though ^^ nice idea

Hm... I'd rather make it so the bonus is given when you successfully open all the chest of an area, provided there are at least three of them.
That would be fair enough.

I'd like something like this so I don't have to spend forever with crappy lockpick% until next gamer weekend, since the gaps between tiers are soo big (and using clovers for 4pts on the random off chance is NOT an efficient way to work on this). Because, even with a crap %..there's still a chance I might get a good run. Maybe work it so the bonus scales for each successive lockpick you retain...250 pts for the first, 500pts for the second, 750pt for third...but cap it at 1k or something. So after opening four chests and keeping your pick (would be until logging out), you'd be getting 1k per retained lockpick. Also, for people like me who have crap%, make it so you don't have to retain them in a row to get bonus...just each successfully retained lockpick until you log off again. Oh yes, and it'd only apply for HM's "Locked Chests," otherwise it'd be way too easy with the bonuses on chests in normal mode. Would be a nice incentive to grind on my Treasure Hunter track some more, as well as Wisdom with the better chance for a rare drop.
After double luck/unluck lockpick weekend...my Luck title only advanced 3k toward next tier (50,028-> 53,028, woo). LAME. Granted, I didn't play as much in HM or doing chest runs this weekend (wasn't horribly excited about weekend anyway, without a dbl lockpick drop% to help ease the pain of my suffering gold supply), and while you get better retention% in normal mode...the chance of losing my 1.5k lockpick (probably for a crappy grape) is still great enough that I hate risking it. Hence....the lack of title advancement and a continued crap% on lockpicks. :P
PS: This is in NO way a complaint about weekend events in general. I love them to pieces and look forward to seeing what's coming up in the future. This was just one I was less enthusiastic about, seeing very little potential reward for me. If I'd been 3k away from luck tier 2, it woulda been awesome, I know that. As it is...I look forward to the next one. 3x Tome Drops, plz kthx. ^..^

/notsigned. This would make lockpicks insanely imbalanced in terms of cost vs 9 rings or using regular keys. Lockpicks are meant to provide a minimal bonus to balance the costs when the character has low lucky/chest running, not to have a huge bonus.
Of course mindless people are going to sign trash like this. I can suggest a 10x fame weekend and I will probably still get 90%+ of the people to sign it despite being retardedly imbalanced. Or maybe with every level in lucky, I have a +5% chance that I get 5 points towards my wisdom title for every id.

Even opening 80g keys chests, the chances of getting all chests opened are stil l very low, unless you have already very high Treasure hunter and lucky, but you'll have already spent tons of gold getting those, so...
You are just saying 'no' to everything.
Although I also think the luck points given should depend of the price of the chest, like the chances do.
So Getting a 1500g locked chest keeping the lockpick would grant 300 lucky points...
But a 50g Ascalonian chest would give 10lucky points.
That way would be really balanced and not exploitable.
I would leave the unlucky points the same, because getting a 1500 lockpick broken is really bad luck, no matter where you are.
Then, they could make each chest give 50% bonus for next chst if the result is the same:
Old Ascalon, hard mode:
1st chest: lp kept: 300 lucky points.
2nd chest: lp kept: 450 lucky points (+50%).
3rd chest: lp broken: RESET, 50 unlucky points.
4rd chest: lp broken: 75 unlucky points (+50%).
Area transition: RESET.
Old Ascalon normal mode:
1st chest: lp broken: 50 unlucky points.
2nd chest: lp kept: RESET, 10 lucky points.
3rd chest: lp kept: 15 lucky points (+50%).
4rd chest: lp kept: 20 lucky points (+100%).
With the system like that, you won't be able to go to Old Ascalon to get easy lucky points, but if you manage to get all chest opened in hard mode, you'll get a lot of lucky points.... and that would be because that you were VERY lucky.
The lucky points given per chests would be... like this:
50 - 10
80 - 16
200 - 40
300 - 60
450 - 90
600 -120
750 - 150
1250 - 250
1500 - 300

10 lucky points is nothing imho... with Charmed (1) being 100,000 tickets I don't think 10 lucky points would do much.
I like the idea for chests in a row though so /signed.
