End Enchantment Alert
Extremely basic and helpful. With the release of the hero system, the players mind is going to have to stretch even more to concentrate on so many other things, so to make it a littl easier on the player, I suggest an option that will make a noise like a ding or what have you when an enchantment ends.
An example of how this would be useful is as an Elementalist for instance; Sometimes when you're too busy focussing on casting spells, you don't realize that your attunement has ran out and now you're screwed on energy.
With this system, you'll be reminded when your attunement ends and recast it. This is in fact a realistic system. If you were the character, you would be able to tell when something like an attunement or a healing breeze ends on you for obvious reasons.
This would also be very, very useful for the Dervish considering the sheer number of enchantments they have.
Thanks.

Eh, good thought, but after you play a while, you get a feeling for enchantments. You don't even have to really look at your enchantments corner to know after a while, you just "know". I think this would just be more annoying than helpful, at least for me.

It flashes, if you still can't see it, practice battle awareness or make it bigger in the interface.

It depends on what you're doing. Sometimes you're looking and concentrating on way too much to pay attention to everything. Not to mention with the HERO system like I mentioned. I will be controlling them like players, using their skills for them. So I will have far too much to concentrate on, especially since the majority of those skills I'm using are preps and enchants.

The only ding you need should be the one you hear when getting smacked upside the head.

As stated by Avarre, we already have mad-flashing icons... That should be enough.

Read my first post again. I said an "option" to have a ding. That means you can toggle it on or off. I'm surprised I'm having such negative feedback on this. My suggestions are usually loaded with /signs

My mesmer just love people which don't pay much attention for their current enchantments, hexes and conditions including the enemies skill monitor.

This is where the good players get seperated from the less ( no offence ).
If you don't notice it, and you know it happens, pay attention to it? Any good player'd notice.

Modify your interface so you have the effects affecting you near spots you always watch. Near your health/ernergy bar, near your skill bar, near your party members window if you're a support character, or near your target window if you're an offensive character.
Then, spend some time to get used to it.

There is never too much PurePwnage.
In PvP you need to know your team structure, the enemy team structure, and monitor your own status and more... so looking to see an unmoving blinking thing (especially in PvE) really isn't that hard.

Not every idea can be a good one. Maybe you just need to adjust your interface setup to something easier for you to multi-task in the game.

If you can't pay attention to Enchantments you are maintaining, you should probably play a different game. Like Pokemon. Or some other stupid simple game. The point of having Enchantments flash is that they are about to end, that's the ding. This is a stupid suggestion, this game isn't meant to cater to 5 year olds.

I would like to see a little timer on your enchantments telling you much time is left on them.

Eles and other Professions don't have to watch thier Enchants more so than a Monk does as they rely on them in most cases. You but a ping it it and you might get confused with called target.

I would instead like small dots under or to the side of each hex or enchantment skil slot, just like weapons have alternating icons pictograph's if you have the right weapon equipped and not.
The amount would show how many times it its active.
It does not require any annoying ping, and would not take up much of the skill slot as the dots are purposed to be rather small.
It would help me out a lot, if per chance a hex is removed from a creature, I would see which of my skills has 1 dot too little.
It wouldn't tell me on which creature but at least it would be an improvment to the overview I have right now.
On normal mobs and players this is not a problem, there everything has the same duration and you can kind of sync to that.
But bosses have a X%( I think 20) shorter duration of hexes and conditions on them.
The same would go for enchantments, It would be pretty easy too see if there are as many dots as there are heroes you want to run the enchantment on.
This would be nice too keep track of Aura of Faith for my monk, I don;t cast it often enough to sync with it, but 10 energy and the recharge are bad if I cast it again while it was still running on a non tank ally.
So /not signed, I don't want a sound notification, but a visual one you can see even if you mis the flashy, is a much better solution.
Could even have the dots display on who on mouse over, though most of the time I don't think I have the time to mouse over them and find who is not there.
