Minipet's pick up items
I am not sure if this has been posted before but, I searched the forum and checked out the "Check this thread and use SEARCH before posting ANY new thread" and found nothing about this.
I think minipets should be useful, so why not allow minipets to pick up items that have dropped for you? Of course people should be able to toggle this on and off, but for those (like I) who pick up every drop that drops for you, this would save a little bit of time.

nice idea, but it would be annoying if u had full inventory and it kept on saying "you're inventory is full"

/signed, would be a reason to have minipets other than an inventory slot filler.

But this could be toggled on and off like I said, so that wouldn't happen.

nice idea, would also make it more liekly to pick up the elusive gold item that drops just as you are about to die n get kicked off the map

"Mini-pet's pick up items"? No, mini-pet's pick up should not get items...

/signed but guess what this has been suggested 100000000 times and it may have been deleted or you just searched for the wrong thing,
and the solution to full inventory we already addressed, mini-pets would have their own inventory like unclaimed items box that you could pull crap that you want from but if you dont get what you want out before you leave town again its all destroyed, just so its not used as extra inventory space.

The search on these forums is poor, there is an advanced search but this does not work for me. None of the options I would normally see on a forum are present on this forum. I can't decide what forum I can search in, I can't select by date, or anything. All I have is a search box.

So a person could easily just kill a monster with a longbow (without causing it to run up to them), then send in their minipet to grab any drops. The exploitable nature of such a change is very large.
In order for this to be in any way balanced, minipets would have to cause enemies to aggro, as they will be running in picking things up instead of a player.
So, do you really want to have your minipet aggro'ing huge groups just because it likes to run around randomly?

um curse no thats not how it would work, minipets would pick up items that are near them and they stick near you so you would have to go near the item anyway and you would aggro.

Curse you's point is one of the reason I have to /notsign this. Also because it would allow you to pick up items when you are dead.
