Better ways to sell in GW
Now I got most of these ideas from WoW but you have to admit their trading system is unbeleivable. Some reasons why are as followed!
1)Players can ping their items name and if a buyer clicks on it he/she can see the stats of the item. I think this would help because I cannot tell you how many times people have PMed me saying "What are the stats of it, lemme see it in trade"
2)An Auction House (AH). Ok this would help ALOT. It's, I think, better than constantly typing and sending over and over. You enter the item, put down a process fee, bidding fee/buyout, press send bada bing bada boom your done. And sice GW dosnt have a Mailbox they can just send your money/items to your storage account.
That's really all I would like for now. I know I sound kind of retarded talking about this and people are gonna say "o you just want it to be like WoW". I dont and A-Net dosnt either but these two ideas would dramitically improve trading gameplay!

whats wrong with an auction house G? Do you think that you would actually have to learn how to do something in game other than click?

I agree. Both of those things would be very nice. But aNet already knows this and already have addressed the desire for an Auction House.
I don't think you're wanting to be like WoW. So what if WoW has an Auction House? It's a reasonable device in any MMO with an economy. As for the weapon stats in chat, however, WoW stole it from the Cosmos 3rd party interface.

You don't need to. This is a part of selling anything. You should expect this to happen whenever you're trying to sell something. Don't let this bother you. Even if you advertise it with stats, if I'm interested I'm going to ask to see it in Trade window before I confirm if I will buy it or not.

I could be wrong, but I was under the impression you could already post a link to an item in the chat window? A link you can click on and view the stats of an item.
Maybe im thinking of WoW, but Im certain Anet added this facility not long ago.

WRONG NO U CANT
Auctions = Good, if you dont like them then dont use them. I think it should be opened up in any town like the new party window idear where u can say ur lookin for a group. Or maybe auction traders in every major city. It would make trading for me much easier, cause the last thing i wanna do when getting my vanquisher title is sit in LA spamming with everyone else, trying to sell my crap to make space. I would settle for a couple thousand gold less even per item, cause its more worth it if i can sell stuff while I'm making money off drops at same time. I think it should be implemented at the same time as GWEN

why cant they just take some ideas from RYL? like opening your own store in middle of the town, And adding prises.
However all of these stuff are needed. I'm tired of the Spamtards, not to mention that I'm allso turning into one

Game change suggestions should be judged only on their merits for guild wars. Not on the person suggesting the idea, nor on where he got said idea. If its a good idea other games have probably implemented it.

Already suggested, but I can't easily find the threads. General consensus is that the item links should be limited to trade chat, and maybe party search. But if we get a decent trade system, then this becomes irrelevant so its probably a waste of ANET's time.

Just give us a friggin auction house anet. Do it like neopets ^_^ just have some auction agent in every major outpost who takes you to the auction house where you can bid on stuff. As long as its not too coplicated and is reasonably user friendly this will solve both the trading and spaming problems!
And if an auction house is too much to ask for, why not do personal stores that you can afk like in Silk Road?

Yep both would be great...cant wait for them to be implemented, which means they probably won't.
