how many groups stand around all day GLF R10 SS {class} I dont think ppl will give much a damn. The only grps that in PvE are classist, are found in DoA and revovle around LB title.

I like the skills as is, I dont think they'll discriminate. Also, skills dont discriminate, people do. Blame the community not the skill if getting a grp is difficult.

I went out last night with a few Guildies to help a member get Closer to the Stars. One was a Para, who has earned KoaBD. Compare that to my poor Ele, who had to spend an hour grinding out Sunspear points to hit Castellan to test this idea.

Before the mission, unlocked Para. Bought Viscious Spear, GftE, Never Surrender, Barbed Spear, Lightning Spear, Sunspear Rez, and the new Sunspear Para skill.

Specced her out to 12 Spear, 12 Command, rest into Energy. Max spear and sheild. Gave me a Para with 50ish Energy and 4 pips. Initiating aggro, constantly maintaining the new Para damage reduction, hitting 66% GftE, adrenaline attacks as they charged, and Never Surrender as needed, my Ele made a much better Para than the KoaBD Para who is Protector on all 3 continents. Why? Because a 30 energy, 2 pip Para can't maintain that skill during an entire campaign, let alone an entire mob, and an Ele can, EASILY. Permanent DR. A nub E/P now makes a more powerful Para than a P/anything.

And this is going to entice people to play Para's? By giving "them" a skill that other classes are MUCH better suited to use? It's made them less likely to be played, not more. Who in their right mind is going to go primary when your SF Ele can go /P and pick it up for free, and give your party PERMANENT 30% damage reduction along with setting things on fire?

I love all of the skills, don't get me wrong. I love that the already ridiculously overpowered dervishes, 9 out of every 10 characters to be seen, can stay in Permatar. I love the 'Sin being in Permacrit with 90 AL. 'Sins now out-Tanking Wammos. Who'da thunk?

But, if the intent is to make classes like, for instance, the above mentioned Paragon, who have been nerfed into obscurity, desirable once again, being able to use thier skill as your secondary has the complete, opposite results. Almost every class in GW can make better use of that skill than a Para can, if not tied to primaries ;-)

Chosen ones can have more than one profession.

Chosen ones can learn all skills.

They are not celestial skills. They are PvE skills, like Lightbringer's Gaze or Sunpear Resurrection Signet.

They are meant to be used in cross-classes.

You can have only two of them at the same time.
