Unhappy Un-nerf Luxon Supplymaster Quest

Well with all the attention the luxon/kurzick titles are getting at the moment I feel it is the right time to call for an un-nerfing of this repeatable quest.

The Kurzicks have a FFF quest that has never been touched, our supply run quest was nerfed once with the change of the kurzick pop-up mobs and then a second time with the changing of the siphon speed usage by the creeping carps.

Isn't it about time we had this quest reverted back to how it was originally? The jade arena is the fastest luxon faction farming run at the moment and takes about twice as long as the kurzick FFF quest. Also the arena run does not include any chest spawn locations on its route unlike the kurzick FFF run.

Yes vanquiahing in hm does give good faction rewards at the moment and combining the repeatbale quests in with it is good faction, but is still nowhere near the kurzick FFF faction quantity per hour.

I think they just need to provide better options to get faction. And FFF seems more like a bug that needs to be fixed, than anything. I doubt they'll un-nerf it just so that you can farm faction quicker. They nerfed it for a reason.

But yeah, I do think it's unfair how the Kurzicks can FFF while the Luxons don't really have a similar option. I plan on using FFF at Lutgardis while it lasts, so that I can easily gain faction for that stupid title. I do, however, think it's a bug since the quest states to "secure" the areas. ANet could easily require people to kill the Luxons that spawn. I'm surprised they haven't done so, actually.

I'd like to see what people have to say if ANet does nerf the Kurzick FFF.

/signed, for either the view of the first post or the second. The most important point about the Factions is that they are meant to be equal. Either Luxons need some form of FFF, or Kurzicks need theirs taken away. Either way would be fair, leaving it as it is would be grossly unfair.

People use to brag about being able to do the Luxon FFF quest with Sprint and empty skillbars and then begged for it to be nerfed cuz they could do that. Then they got their wish.

At least the Kurz FFF takes some more skill than just having one run skill and an empty skill bar.

What I'm saying is that if they un-nerf the Luxon quest, then Luxon will suddenly have a huge advantage in FFF.

Therefore it is a bad idea to do so.

No, no, no I'm not asking for a nerfing of the kurzick FFF. Guez its like everyone on these forums just wants to nerf everything. Kurzicks have it good and it should stay like that for them.

Yes I was part of one of the first alliances that held cavalon back when factions first came out and we did that run to death way before it became public knowledge. Once the secret was out of the bag the lag in breaker hallow was immense, especially when we were competing with another alliance for control.

However, since the multiple nerfs of this run the luxons have been at a disadvantage in the quantity of faction that can be farmed per hour. I am suggesting the un-nerfing of this run as a way to address this issue. I am not saying completely revert it to its original state because of the problems stated above.

I think it is a general consensus that we have some different faction farming methods now and this is an idea for one of those methods that has the advantage of already being in the game and therefore less to work to make into one of the viable solutions.

Maybe an increase of faction gained from that quest would be good?

FFF is dumb, they should fix the Kurzick side. It's a low priority bug that looks like it isn't high enough priority to ever be fixed.

It's fantastically retarded that running around Lutgardis and dying repeatedly lets you control HzH while defeating the Luxons in battle repeatedly doesn't.

If they made it so winning AB was the most lucrative way to gain faction, you just might start to see a bit more skill displayed in AB. And a guild name on a town could become a badge of pride rather than the badge of shame that they grind FFF more than the next guy at the expense of actually playing the game.
