Best solution is to remove gold from the game
I don't mean gold sinks i mean everything everywhere is free
Obviously a joke but there is NO way to stop some people buying GW gold and while people will buy bts will sell

ARGH! Enough hatin up on my profession! When I chose to be a MoMe I didn't know squat about what farming even was! I've never used a bot in my life and never will. If my combination of professions is unusually good at soloing then biscuit to me for winning the luck of the draw when I unwittingly selected the combination 2 years ago.
I like your password idea for ANY single man party leaving an outpost, but there was no reason to point a finger at a given profession combo (Mr Jealous W/Mo)... Point taken?

Farming has been embraced by Anet as a legitimate form of gameplay or they would have nerfed tons of things years ago beginning with the 55hp monk.
Mind you BOTS are NOT acceptable, but the issue seems to be confused in this thread.
I use signpost to navigate out of outposts frequently because it's convenient. As I've said above I've never used nor will I, a bot. But evidently my behavior is bot-like enough that I'd certainly eat crow if some of these suggestions were actually implemented.
Anet already aggressively and proactively combats the use of bots... the point of this thread actually seems more to cross over the line and start punishing farmers too.
Answer me this, what are tomes for if not to decrease gold farming? Tome farming is perfectly legit. Anet realizes that the enjoyment of content hinges on the proliferation of skill availability. Farming tomes, or gold in the old days to pay for each of your skills, is a means to widening your skill bar and collecting worthwhile weapons, runes and insignias. How else am I supposed to equip my heroes? With 9 characters that I play and more than 10 heroes available to each of those characters, how else do you purpose I furnish them with adequate equipment?
I've earned and bought everything on my account with my own blood. While I have a strong distaste for farming because I don't consider it to be the enjoyment of designed content, I accept it, and down right count on it as an ACCEPTABLE means of provision. Cutting out the 1 plat for signets of capture or the 1 plat for the skill trainer by using tomes means I can put the needed runes and insignias on my heroes' armors all that much sooner. Kudos to Anet for understanding the grind and alleviating a portion of it!!

Exactly, Increase Gold/Green Drops (I'm not saying a whole lot), Lower max armor prices (10k on droks is harsh, at least half that) And increase money drops, get 8 gold from 100? Lets have *heros* not pick up gold (We spend money/time on the runes/weapons for them)
That would stop bots, because people wont need to buy money.
