Default Remove NPC Glow

1st i searched for npc glow and didn't find anything.
So Who wants the npcs to glow?
Anybody?
Give them capes or differant skins for each side.

Big question is why?
Whats wrong with the colored glow?
It's easy to tell the team they on from outside of radar and name distance, why would we want to loose that

Because it would look better for them not to glow.
If it's a recognitiopn thing give them capes or do capes not do "it" in which case should the players glow? Hell no!

NPCs glow? I never noticed this(except for the bosses colored aura). I want what your smoking .

Can you take the time out from your busy schedule to remove the glow from NPCs. I realise that your staff are currently busy developing an expansion, a sequel, fixing bugs, catching bots and banning rule breakers.

I realise that your staff are run off their feet dealing with countless more important issues, that need instant attention. I realise the servers need regular maintenance, and that as a company your constantly having to justify how and where you spend your budget to your share holders and your bosses.

I realise your probably fighting management to get new staff, to meet the increasing work load.

But I feel the glow on the NPCs is just sooo important an issue, that it removes the fun from the game. The glow makes me sad.

I want you to take precious time, money and resources away from more important projects, just to remove that glow.

Anyway...

As another poster mentioned... you mean "aura" not glow. Bosses glow, not NPCs!

An NPC (none playable character) is more often considered an interactive character that you speak to and receive feedback from in some form. Sometimes you help them in missions or quests.

A boss is a character you fight at some point and cap elites from. Bosses have Auras/Glows, not NPCs!

They need these glows to be easily, and instantly recognised from a distance. You might be exploring and want to avoid a mob, but notice from a distance their colour and go cap them.

A cape or non-distinctive symbol woldnt work, because you wouldnt see it from a distance.

And it is something they added that wasn't there to begin with.
And it should be THE SAME seeing a human player vs a hero/hench from a distance, why should npcs(footmen, archers to you pve nubs) be easier to identify from a distance than a player toon.
Your right it's not the most important thing ever but it's simple to remove. And i don't know of anyone that likes it or needs it so why have it.
Sorry i thought most readers would have more of an idea of what guild wars is.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, I think I understand this now; your heros and the henchies have an "aura" about them in PvP and GvG.
I'm one of those "PvE nubs" and although I'm an avid PvEer(with over 1,900hrs.), I do at times play PvP in AB and have never noticed an "aura" to any of the NPCs or players or their pets or the MMs minions in AB.

Fun fact, I added the picture of the Luxon Base Defender.

The aura on NPCs in PvP is useful. It's annoying to have to look for a cape in the middle of a big brawl of people. If you can spot that aura, you can tell who the NPCs are, as well as what side they are on.

1) If its a PvP thing, this would be why I havent a clue what your on about. I NEVER PvP because I dont enjoy it.

2) Sorry, but it just frustrates me when people ask for things to be changed that are extremely small and have no baring on the gameplay.
