Bonus Mission Pack Confirmation
I Posted something like this in another thread but it seams to have got buried
So I would like to make this suggestion in it's own topic please.
I just bought Factions and Nightfall ( been meaning to get them for a while anyway) from the on line shop
and take advantage of the Bonus Mission Pack after my purchase I was expecting a message
saying something like this OR however it should be worded.

Thank you for your purchase you have fulfilled the requirement of
the bonus pack offer and a pack will be available to this account at the time
of the actual release date by us.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There is NO indication that the pack has been reserved for me and that I met the requirements.
I suggest there should be something stating this fact in the store screen or emailed to your GW registered account
for our own piece of mind and not waiting till the last min to find out if your account will get the pack or is not qualified yet.

Yeah i was somewhat miffed when i got three charcter slots to qualify and nothing came up to say i had fulfilled the requirment

Yeah... it should appear in the shop, but with a grayed 'purchase' button and a message 'come back after [date] to get it.
That way we won't get the feeling that 'something went wrong'.

I don't even need a message, really. Just remove the "OMG BUY NOW FOR MISSION BONUS" cluttering up my friggin' character page so I know it's no longer necessary. When I see that, for a minute I'm like "Holy crap new bonus-- oh wait..." and it's irritating.
It'd also be a decent confirmation that we qualified and no longer need to see the ad.
I'm keeping my "thank you for your purchase" e-mail just in case an issue comes up, but a little nod from ANet wouldn't hurt.

Can't you find a message after you log in and press "Edit Account" and then tick the box "Manage Acces Keys" ? you can see all you have available on your account.

Hi
I did look in there after my purchase as I also thought it might go there
but it only shows what I bought plus some slots and GOTY upgrade.
No mention of the bonus pack but that IS a good idea you have
why don't they add it there in that screen and mark it as "Pending"

A confirmation in the context of this offer seems a very good idea. I think it was not implemented because this is the first offer of this type and its inclusion was either not thought of, not thought to be necessary, or was rather costly to program and roll out for a short-term offer. However, I do like the idea very much and have relayed it to the co-founders, who will in turn assess it and pass it along for implementation if that is possible at all.

Regarding the mission bonus pack. I have purchased everything available in the store including all 3 Chapters, 1 PvP pack (as I have no use in the other two considering I have everything unlocked). I have no use in Character Slots as I have slots I haven't used as it is. What am I to do if I have nothing to purchase from the store at all?

Thank you Gaile for replying I hope a confirmation could be somehow
worked out in the system it would put a lot of minds at rest knowing we
are qualified OR need to spend a little more to make the offer.

Yeah, this is why I'm waiting until it's actually released before I buy my 3 slots. I just want to be sure!
