Beast Master Wepons
Idea: a weapon for rangers to use instead of a bow to do more melee damage
Weapon: claws
Attribute: Beast Mastery
Damage Max: 7-17 (same as daggers)
Hit Speed: (same as daggers sorry i do not know what it is)
Inscriptions:
Normal such as 15%^50 , 15% under 50, 15% agenst hexed (ect.)
New Inscriptions:
15%(while pet is alive)
15%(when pet is dead)
+5 energy (when pet is alive)
+5 energy (when pet is dead)
+10 armor (while pet is alive)
+10 armor (while pet is dead)
damage -2 (when pet is dead)
*notice all new inscriptions require a pet which gives a little more use for your pets*
*while pet is dead it must be in range for inscription to work... this is to prevent purposely killing you pet in order to gain the boost*
having rangers use "claws" give them a much more "druid" personality they are more intuned with there pet and are closer to there pet dealing damage right next to him/her
comments welcome good and bad.. tell me what it needs improvement...
is it to powerful?
is it useful?
would you use it?

Weapons for Beast Masters have been suggested several times before. Use the search, they're there somewhere.
Frankly, with the addition of the pet control panel, there's no real need for a weapon. You can send in your pet without ever using your weapon. Just equip a staff for energy, since you don't need to be using it to deal damage.

There's a reason why there are pet attack skills, and that's because your pet is your weapon. Although it would be cool to have a staff that requires Beast Mastery (to add a tad extra damage output, plus some cool new druid-like skins), a +20 energy staff is good enough.

Well... actually I'll agree with a new 'generic' type of weapon:
- Knuckles.
They could be linked to any mainly offensive attribute:
- Smitting, Blood Magic, Fire Magic, etc... it would be loved by close range builds, like those relying on touch-range skills.
Stats would be much like your claws. Claws themselves fit as a type of knuckle.
But although it would be could, such a change would be a bit too much for the current system.
Mybe for GW2, who knows?
