Default Change the current Pet System

I would like to see an end to the current pet system. The current pet system requires a Beast Master to either slate all of their skill slots to the pet, or uses the pets as a brief attention gettting sac. It then lies there in a state of pathetic lumpedness to be used for an MM, Well, or IWAY. Frequently I see the Any/R class combo that merely brings it along to abandon the dead corpse - leaving the party without benefit of its tanking or the skill the owner could be using for party benefit. But I like pets, and don't want them removed - only amended.

Now, with Elona we have a completely viable pet system. Consider my Pets Koss, Dunkoro, and Melonni for example. They fill a vital roll, act functionally, have just as many skill slots as it takes to run a pet, are not an addition to the party that has to be healed separately, they can be rezzed by any monk, and I am willing to bring them along. But I never bring my pet out, even when I play ranger, unless I am soloing just for the fun of having the pet.

I propose the Charm Pet skill allow a player to add that pet to their Hero list and level them just like an unlocked hero. Let the pet skills be amended to reflect that status, and only be available for pets to wield. Two paths could be taken: 1) Pets can never be duo classed, 2) Pets could have a secondary only if their master is ascended/PvP only.

PS: I know this would put a small crimp in IWAY but it has other significant benefits for Hero Battles, PvE, and even PvP Teams.

There are viable builds that use pets as damage/tanks and still primarily use the rangers bow (or other means of damage) as a primary source of damage... Guild Wars is about balance, pets are one more thing to balance in an equation.
