I think anybody who doesn't log on in 6 month's time should earn an in game "Quitter" title and be logged in periodically by Anet to stand around in town in shackles for the explicit purpose of being riddiculed by other players. Then we could get favor from people that don't even play anymore!

6 months = "Slacker"
7 months = "Can't take the heat"
8 months = "Wimp"
9 months = "Chickened out"

11 months = "Quitter"
12 months = "Quitter of Epic Proportions"

If you come back to the game after that hiatus then you can wear the title with pride! It should default so that any time you haven't selected a different title, it displays this one.

Favour? Favour, hmm? Why do I get the feeling this is a disgruntled European player, possibly part of a large PvPing guild and/or alliance, who can't maintain a strangle hold on HoH and the Favor of the Gods anymore and must therefor bring forth a half-assed petition, which has no hope of reverting the changes, to light in this forum?

Sheesh. Give the new system a chance, it may work for the better. HoH hasn't changed, the rewards aren't gone. They just don't influence a PvE aspect of the game anymore.

After 3 hours I would say /signed, but now I say:

Why? Im from Europe, so I usually had favor. If not, I waited/went to HA/farmed somewhere else, but usually didn't happen. But now I can see, that it was a bit unfair. I mean, I could count how many times Taiwan had favor on a hand of blind butcher. Is that fair? No. And it doesn't seem that bad - I went afk for 15 minutes and when I came back, there were already 3 people that gained max title.

they can improve on the current system by adjusting some stuff. like make the achievements personal to our character for access or just allow maxed Guardian titles for each campaign and maxed skill capping and individual maxed cartograph available to affect favor. instead of the legendary titles alone. it will grant access more often that way.

I was trolling this thread for just this type of post. If you don't care, why are you even commenting? Luxon/Kurzick Faction doesn't matter, but their are 2 ways into their respective elite mission.

1)Scrolls and (2)Ferried by a member of the owners of Cavalon/HzH's alliance. This means either spend your money, your faction, or wait for a good guy to open the door for you. Previously, only the good guy was available, and the people cried foul.

Another point you fail to realize is that alot of people play PvE and thus achieve titles rather frequently. 20 guys out of a possible 4 million isn't even effecting those who apparently don't care. So favor gained for access to PvE elite missions by PvE deeds makes complete sense,imo, as was being saught after by the PvE community for the majority of 2 yrs now. The PvP people, in all honesty, are almost totally unaffected by this change. You may not get to make the FoW/UW exclusive to your region anymore, but hell, the guys that own towns like Cavalon and HzH don't have that kind of monopoly anymore either. So, suck it up and make nice. Also, as they achieve their maxed out Hero titles, they will help in gaining favor for the whole damn world. That's a greater deed than just for your region. Does getting 5 wins in a row change now because you don't get the favor of the gods for it? I would assume it didn't.

Europe has dominated favor for what? 2 years now!

lol! now, they're crying because favor is based on PVE and not PVP.

I say that all whining Europeans should buy scrolls and deal with it.

GG Anet, although you shouldn't have made favor pvp based in the first place.

I will forgive you for making the Europeans cry.

Although I am amazed at how many of your fellow Europeans are coming out of the woodwork, and pretty much admitting that they enjoyed keeping favor from everyone else. I kinda creeps me out that people were that aggressive about favor but always denied it in the forums until now.

I lost count of how many times Euro PvP players said that favor and elite access had nothing to do with why they played. Now we know that they were being devious.
