Good work people who shot this thread down you made her leave. Even though she said "I'm asking that MODEST and APPEALING armor at a REASONABLE price be added not that all the "indecent" armor be removed" her title is pretty much saying Nerf clevage and shorts!! I mean come on have you ever been to the beach? What do they wear there? It's hot in Elona! Jora needs less armor so she can be more mobile.
What happened to the more armored units in history? They were knocked down and could'nt get up and were killed with pikes by low ranking soldiers. I'm not saying wear a bikini to the mall, even though people should during the summer.
There's also a good reason for cleavage. If you know someone who has big ones, they can't find any clothes that can fit them well. They either have to wear big oversized clothes or wear clothes with the clevage. The cleavage lets them fit it better. Look at the clothes from the Victorian period, big busts wanted and cleavage shown. I say nerf people who go around calling people pigs for liking breasts and a nice body but go around oogling muscly guys.

Some of Luis Royo's armour designs might look a little skimpy, but the ladies he paints look like they can kick some serious *** too. My favourite artist ever.

As for the whole skimpy fem armour thing, please take note that ANET did infact hear all of your complaints and they already took action in Nightfall by levelling the playing field. How? Rather than making less revealing female armours, they made more revealing MALE armours....... so really, all you complainer out there have got to stop complaining and just play the game. Don't like the armour? Then for gods sake, DON'T BUY IT....

Some of you make me embarrassed for being a male. Some of you have a devious way of putting words in people's mouths or taking them grossly out of context and beating up that supposed argument (strawman fallacy, for anyone who's taken Practical Reasoning). A tip for many of you, if you are quoting a person's post and inserting your reply to each individual sentence they typed, you have likely not examined the argument properly and are misinterpreting them.

This thread should have been about whether ANet's choice of armour has excluded some female gamers, not whether or not females are prudes. It should have been about whether or not ANet should consider adding more conservative choices in their armour selection, not whether or not they should censor all existing armour. It was never about how appropriate nudity is or how beautiful the human body is; none of that was ever relevant. And it most certainly was never about Dervish Gnome. An argument should stand on its own, no matter who speaks it. You can claim someone is overreacting, but don't follow that up with insults or you'll never convince them they are overreacting.

And now that the original poster has signalled that she's finished with this thread, I'm closing it forever. I hope some of you will do us all a favor and read some bloody Wittgenstein!
