Petition: Give GW:EN regular chests in normal mode
During the GW:EN preview all the chests I saw there were the hard mode locked chests.
In normal mode I've found that while I still gain gold if using keys, I'm losing gold if I use lockpicks (well, until my titles reach the point where the lockpicks become cheaper on those chests). So what I'd like to see is ANET replace those chests with the usual keyed chests in normal mode because having locked chests is encouraging people to avoid the chests even if they want to work on their treasure hunter title.
I'm not asking for ANET to even produce new skins for the chests or the keys, and I don't care what name gets chosen.
I also realise that its possible that the chests were just the locked chests for the preview and that ANET was always planning to implement this suggestion. In fact unless GW:EN goes live with locked chests in normal mode, I'll assume this to be the case. But on the off chance that its not the case, I'm making my opinion on this matter known.

You lloked the %?
For me, in hard mode it's 17%
In normal mode it's 47%
That's the % in GWEN.
So, they actually are 'even more end' chests.
That is, better than 1250 ones. So the lockpicks 1500 are better.

I'm assuming what you are, too. Even then, though. With rarer skins dropping more common (from what I've been hearing) in GWEN, then lockpicks would be a fair compromise.

I don't see those skins holding their value for long after the GW:EN release.

there very well might be new keys, and they might just have used lockpicks for the preview to keep the new chests a surpise until it goes live

Buy your lockpicks from players who own cities in Factions they get them for 1200 and will usually sell them for 1250.
