Revamp graphics in Proph
I'm not sure if this was already discussed, but looking at all the beautiful graphics in GWEN, and even past campaigns like Factions and Nightfall, I can't help but notice how bland the scenery is in Prophecies. Dont get me wrong, it was a great story and stays true to my heart. It had great graphics for its time, especially as a starting point for the Guild Wars franchise.
But lately, I have been spending some time in Tyria helping a friend through the game (Prophecies is the only campaign he owns), and I want him to see all the beauty that GWEN and the others have to offer. So is there any way ANET can put out some updates to improve the scenery in parts of Tyria that arent part of GWEN? I know that the ring of fire can use some work, along with the desert and old ascalon.
I'm sure there's some hard core GW fans out there completely disagreeing with me about this suggestion, but if Prophecies had that much detail put into the environment, think of how much more rewarding it would be to revisit some old areas. Just a thought.

Thinks like plants and trees become updated if they change their skins and such for latter chapters.
But it's true that thinks like fire and water are way different.
Now that they have such great fie effects, the beacons keep the older 'spray-like' fire effects.

Well, it just isn't going to happen. Games get old. Stuff that looks cool now, looks bad when the newest model comes out. NCAA 08 looks awesome. 05 looks horrid. But when it was 2005, 05 looked SWEET.
Facts of life.

I am already running at 7fps when there are fire or water effects around on prophecies.... don't want to know how fast i would move with better graphics
(hate to have an integrated video card with no agp/pcie slot)

Ever since that dreaded graphics update at Nightfall pvp preview weekend, the game lags so much whenever there are these fire/water environment effects. (The game was perfectly fine before that.)
Don't make it any worse
If anything, I'd rather have the graphics un-vamp back to Factions-spec graphics so the game is more playable.

Not because I wouldn't like it, but it would delay Guild Wars 2. There's also the fact that ANET consider Prophecies to be "finished" now, so it'd never happen.
