Experience Title
I recently had an idea for an experience Title.
It wont be maxable, nor will it provide any inherent benefit (such as LB).
It wil simply show your current exp, perhaps rounded to the nearest 100k.
It would work more as a vanity title, but I think it would be popular amongst PvErs.

I like the idea it woundnt count as a title but it would be able to be dispalyed, it would say what lvl you would be if you could go past lvl 20
example
lvl 20 *name*
Master LvL 34
very good idea
Cheers

Overall good idea...500k or at least 250k rounding though, and allow the track to be displayabled in HoM...plus make decent names for titles.

As Lucifer said, it only creates another discrimintory title. Furhtermore, experience means nothing, as farming causes a VAST influx of exp in non-team oreiented situation. Ie, a guy who farms for weeks on end can still be a noob in a group.

As much as I would like to see the farmbot with rank 1000, it will never happen. This title is just something that would cause massive discrimination between players, over something so simple as exp.

It would be nice if all that xp I (and other people) get farming actually did something.
I don't PUG anyways so PvE discrimination is somewhat meaningless to me. My guild/alliance knows my skill level and they're for the most part the only people I play with.

people are going to discriminate no matter what is here, even with no title they will only take people with fow or w/e. and seeing a bot wiht rank 1000000 of this title will not affect your gameplay in the least, /signed cause it would be cool to have....

Reason 1: Exp = super easy to farm, and shows nothing about a player
Reason 2: As has already been said, people would begin to discriminate against players with lower ranks in pve too.

BTW, search for an idea before you start a new thread.
This is suggestion topic #1.
And it's not a good one.

I've heard this suggestion a ton. I really thought it would be a good idea the FIRST time I heard it. Then I heard the cons, and even though I would love to show of my measely X-million, lucifer is exactly right. There would be so much discrimination. I'll be satisfied just sharing it with the few people that know me and will believe me when i tell them.

Don't forget that the title does nothing as well... It's purely for fun.

Discrimination didn't exist in GW already?

Technically, don't we already have several experience titles?
1. The survivor title shows that you've reached a certain amount of experience without dying.
2. The Luxon/Kurzick title shows how long or how much faction you've accumulated for your favorite side, which in turn shows your experience and/or determination in acquiring faction.
3. PvP titles like gladiator show your experience and willingness to fight against other human controlled characters.
Those are just a few examples of experience based titles.

But isn't it just as fun to be able to see that your character has 5 million exp? Oh wait... its not fun because you don't get to show it off to other players and increase your own ego.

Isn't that what most titles do?
Survivor, Drunkard, Sweet Tooth, Cartographer, etc.? Why do you think there's a difference when ther is none?

Because without titles, you couldn't track drunkard, sweet tooth, or cartographer at all.
With experience, its ALREADY tracked by your hero menu (h).

The same could be argued for the KoaBD title. You already know how many titles you've maxed. Why do other people need to see?
