Blindfold
I was very dissapointed when I found out my blindfold could not be dyed. Please, it is a simple texture accross the face and it would allow a more unique character look if it were dyable, like the crown.
Pretty Please?
Greyish/Purple isnt what I had in mind for a blind fold.

Gaile has already said that ANet cannot and will not fix the blindfold.
Sorry, dude. I agree with you, but it can't be helped.

I guess I am confused on what needs to be "fixed", doesnt something just need to be "added"?
And do you have a link to Gailes comment?

From the official Wiki.
Quote:
I answered this on a fan forum in relation to blindfolds, but the information applies to glasses, as well: It was intended that masks not accept dyes, or rather, it was necessary that they not accept dyes due to technical limitations. The reason for this is that masks are, essentially, the "helm model." In order to place a helm of any sort on your character's head, we replace the hair with the helm. You may have noticed that when your long-haired PC puts on a hat of some sort -- the hair disappears, right? Well, with the blindfold, if we replace the hair with the "helm," the character will be bald! (There is an exception with the masks of the Mesmer, but we cannot extend that exception to all models, as they were not designed that way to begin with, as the Mesmer was.) The technical limitation is something I imagine we'll address in Guild Wars 2. For Guild Wars, it's not something that we can change. I hope this is helpful information

She must be talking about the clipping, and I agree with her on that. She doesn't even address dying it.
Anyway, 'a texture across the face' would look stupid. You might as well ask for a new woad called 'The Stipe'.

UMM I agree with BAmmm And That Entire Quote is Just Rubbish (UM im not to sure how how the company can say Technical Limitations When Its a Computer Game Company Just call up the Programmers and tell them what you want done If they say no FIRE THEM) im so confused how a game company say technicial limitations or other BS like that well here is what you say to them PAY CHECK LIMITATIONS SORRY NO CHECK THIS WEEK.
Or what getting paid to do your job means little in todays world??????
Flame this all you want im still right
I know their are people out there who agree with me i mean its symple you go to college for a degree in (Blank) than get a job and say sorry boss cant change a Line of code it will take me all day to find it, sorry.
Im a Engineer and if i would tell my boss that I would be escourted out side by armed Guards carrying my Things from my desk.
(Their is no excuse for anyone At Anet to say we cant change that its too hard. Fire him or her or Them if it a team and hire someone better for the same money.)
I cannot emphise enough how much this angers me A Game Company Would Say that (Sorry Anet for the millions and millions of dollers you have earned over the past 2 and a half years from selling Guild Wars SORRY it wont get spent on the Game development)
Sarcasim follows
Anet Worker
Hey can I get a Paid Trip to China to go to a coffie shop and give out a magazine.
Anet Boss
Sure no problem
Anet Worker
What about the other 40 team members i need them to carry boxs
Anet Boss

I read it, your grammer needs improvement.
Anyway, it's not a bad idea but I don't think it's worth annoying them with. Frankly, this is a good MMO with no monthly fees, I'm quite happy with the support and game design.

They have no intentions of doing anything about it, for whatever their reasons may be. It's apparently a technical limitation.
Sorry, dudes and dudettes.
