Bot Control Idea
I think that the number of bots in Guild Wars can easily be vanished if my new idea is applied. If players are limited to two hours of game play per day the effect of bots will not be as harsh on the economy. Also, the casual players will have a better chance of competing with the advanced players in the economical side of the game.

To be fair, that really is a terrible, terrible idea.
What about things like the deep, urgoz, some of the GWEN dungeons that can take longer than 2 hours, what about the straight runs on DOA? They would be impossible to complete.
Also people who bought this game, paid to have access to it any time they want, unless we are banned, or there is server problems.
Hence this idea is completely unfeasable. We need to find a much better way to control bots.
Perhaps a random word that must be typed in, like on many registration forms after every hour of play, or even every time we enter a mission/explorable area would be a much better idea, as it takes maybe 2 or 3 seconds for a player to put it in, so it really isnt affecting our gaming time in any way, while computer controlled bots couldnt put in a word, hece couldnt leave the town/outpost they were in to farm, hence problem solved.

Goodness gracious.
Do you think of this as a conceivable update? I.e, actually think this through in the slightest before typing this out?
I think the intelligence level of sardelac just hit rock freakin' bottom.
edit: My connection lagged and my sentence structure suffered.

LMAO!
You have to be trolling, right? There is no way Anet would ever consider this!

2 hours? XDDDD
My average is 4 hours per day, mate.
A limit in the amount of cash earned in merchants would do (after that they would refuse buying anymore or no more drops fall) since players get more cash from traders and selling to other players, but bots sell only to merchants.
A limit on 8 hours of farming would do. Players would get no difference, since almost no one plays more than 8 hours, and they will get more cahs selling to traders and other players, and bot will get their earnings banished.

Only 2 hours? Jeez. Why not 30 minutes? That seems like a much more reasonable time.
