i just thought of an idea for the executioner... like the bound spirits there could be a torture type skill the summons a tortured soul of a dead ally or just a spirit that would hover over target enemy and renders him motionless and has a health degeneration on the enemyof -1 to -4 for 10 seconds and the spirit attacks all enemies within range (probably elite)

Just a note, don't forget that there are executioner undead in Kryta(just went through there again!), It might be possible to model some armor after theirs. And you know how every time they introduce a new profession by adding them to the mobs first? Not necessary for this guy! lol. Maybe some of their(undead executioners) skills could be overlapped with the ones you've already used, or replaced if they are just warrior skills.

ya i kno there are executioner monsters. When i saw them they oddly resembled what i sorta wanted for the executioner...

i drew some ideas of what executioner stuff would look like they are kinda weird but here they are...

Got some new skill ideas... (I mixed them with others' ideas to try and make a full perspective)

Attributes

Execution (primary)
Torture
Judgement
Terror

Skills:

Execution
Name-Energy(E) or Adrenaline(AD)-Casting time-Recharge time

Killer's Blow-15(AD)-none-15 seconds
If this attack hits it deals +10 - +85 Extra damage. If the foe dies when the skill is used you gain 25% maximum health back.

Sword's Bane- 10 (AD)-none-30 seconds
If swords bane hits deal +10 - +25 extra damage and if foes is killed you are healed for 50% maximum health.

Bull's Horn-5 (AD)-none- 5 seconds
Deals an Extra 20 - 75 damage.


Torture

Ring of Blood-10 (E)-5 seconds-10 seconds
Target foes begins to bleed and each time it is hit it takes double damage for 2 - 11 seconds.

Burning Lines-10 (E)-2 seconds-5 seconds
Target foes is set on fire for 3 - 12 seconds.

Drink of Poison-5 (E)-1 second-2 seconds
Target foes loses -1 - -4 health degeneration for 15 seconds.

Judgement

Tortured Soul-20 (E)-5 seconds-20 seconds
If target ally dies within 10-60 seconds a level 0-12 soul appears and fights with you for 100 seconds. (deals randged damage)

"Come to the Light"(shout)-15 (E)-5 seconds-60 seconds
If target foe dies within 5 - 30 seconds the foe is reborn as a soul from level
0-14. (It uses ranged or melee depending on the foe)(Soul stays with you until you leave the area)

Sorrow's Words(Elite Skill)-20 (E)-10 seconds-30 seconds
Target enemy is attacked with a ranged attack dealing 25 - 150 damage. If foe is killed you regain all lost health.

Lies of the Prisoner-15 (E)-5 seconds-25 seconds
For 25 seconds whenever target foe attacks they take 15 - 75 damage.

Speed of the Jackel-5 (E)-none-15 seconds
For 10 - 25 seconds you move 40% faster.

Terror

Eyes of Death-10 (E)-2 seconds-5 seconds
Target foe moves 50% with a -1 - -3 health degeneration for 3 - 9 seconds.

Gaze of the Dragon(Elite Skill)-15 (E)-10 seconds- 25 seconds
Target foe cannot move (but still attack) and has a health degeneration of
-1 - -5 for 10 - 30 seconds.

THE END
(and when i say "THE END" im only saying that thats all of the skills i put up)

K .-. i really didnt wanna post until this idea was cemented a little bit more.

so here goes~

I like some of Mr. G's concepts on the way the primary works. Funnyman all the skills you listed are way way way way f***ing overpowered.

I dont really feel this idea stands out enough to become its own class. Its essentially a warrior/necromancer with some really overpowered attacks.

I think its just better to take the cooler and more balanced skill ideas and dump it into the skill thread.

As it stands, this class doesnt offer any new way to play with exception for the "maintained hex" and i think scorpion wire kinda fills that role.

Its a melee class. Some of the ideas use adrenaline, some use shouts, some use enchantments, some use hexes and spells.

Whats can i say... .-.

i kno the powers r strong i just wanted to make basic guide lines on what some skills would be like i never said these were what they would be. They can always be changed

i would like the executioner to use whips... probably switch the "terror" attribute for whip mastery...

to adress skills being over powerd we would have to make attack time slow. but what if we took out attack time all togather? maybe im just crazy but what if there was a class without the ability to attack unless you used a skill that was an attack? it would fit the style of an exacusioner ya know tourturing ppl until he could finish them with a single or maybe two blows? that would keep him out of the warriors expertise and it would (to me maybe everyone here hates the idea) make another interesting meele class.

But the problem without out atacking is that u can only use skills and the executioner would need alot of energy...

the thing about only using skills... ya thats the point. but as to energy managment hows about replaceing energy somewhat from the class. warriors get there own mechanic (adreniln) why shouldnt the exicutioner? you could do something like fear and it would be like a sin combo. the more dmg you do to someone the more fear the have of you enabling you to do your next torture. or have this "fear" only be used to pay for attacks. that would solve the problem of exicutioner spiking. so your tourchers would be energy based. you kick the crap outta some monk then you get enough fear to finish up. i dont know this was a really quick idea and fear sounds kinda stupid, but to me not attacking would make this cass fun.

That solves the problem. It could be called... Rage? O and the higher the execution attribute is the more rage u can have and the quicker it regains

A whip eh??? that would look and be really cool. And as far as "warrior necro" I don't see that at all thinking about this possible profession. And even if it was isn't a dervish just like a warrior/Monk? I think that you have a great idea... and if you have more post them because if there as interesting as this one maybe a-net will look at em. Personally I wish they would make 2 more faction/clans (whatever you wanna call em) one could aid the kurz and the other the lux (It could be Kurzicks & Creative Clan Name VS. The Luxons & Another Creative name) kinda off topic tho but once again great idea on the exocutioner!

For (10...35) seconds, target foe moves 25% slower and using skills takes 25% longer.

This would be in the Fear attribute.

Wow... I would like to be an executioner they look awsome and some of the skills r pretty kool, and no attacking and using rage is pretty creative, heres a skill...

Torture. Target foe suffers from weakness for (10...25) seconds.

yes i kno the warrior and executioner are alike and the executioner is sorta like a W/N but it is different in ways like the rage, rage only builds during a fight and if u hit someone u gain rage, so unlike energy i doesnt rebuild an unlike the warrior it cannot attack unless using a skill so both rage and not attacking make it different.
