I am very dissapointed about the approach Anet takes to making money in the game.

They complain that they could of made a way better system for the economy, and yes i agree, but what are you doing? NERF!! Everysingle place we find to farm gets the big NERF!! Drop rates get lowered, golds drop less, mobs become harder.

First you NERF the newbie farming area of VERMINS, then you drop the price of ectos to around 5k!! What??? 5k for an ecto?? thats how some people made a living because you stuffed up in making a good economy.

So why is it that you wish the economy is better, but then just block it from becoming better? Its just plain right stupid!

Is it because you hate people having to farm so you put a stop to every farming area, or is it that you dont want people to feel sad, because they say "I like to play guild wars because i hate grinding money, I dont have much time to play and guild wars is more for casuals" So you say ok, to make it fair for the 'Casuals' , lets NERF!!!

For pete's sake Anet, stop and think what your doing!

i agree in some respects, but the farming world has to be curtailed at least somewhat. Imagine if Anet just let us farm whenever and wherever with no limitations (the drop lessener, costs for UW and FoW, etc). It would be utter chaos for lower level and beginning players who dont have one or two farming characters yet.

Um. Fail? Ectos dropped to 5k because more people are selling it to the trader than buying it, and that's a direct result of ectos being so easy to farm nowadays and being less desired. The players are the ones that create the economy and affect prices, so cry less.

It's get nerfed quicker... A-net reads forums & nerfs
They don't look at a computerscreen a whole day to see where people farm in game...

Perhaps you all need to step back and take a look at the difference between;

Nerfed maps
and
Over farmed locations

Over farming causes drop rates to sink so low its rare to see a gold drop or anything decently above white.

There are so many threads complaining about this exact thing. Please, if you aren't going to suggest anything new or at least something useful, there is no point in posting. Rant threads don't get anywhere.
