Thanksgiving Event?
Personally, I would like to see some sort of event for Thanksgiving. While it may not be necesarilly easy, I'm sure something could be figured out.....would anyone else like to see one?
And then...as I read this, I realize that Thanksgiving isn't celebrated everywhere...so there would be no point...but it would be cool if they gave America their own Thanksgiving Celebration

Eeeh, no.
Thanksgiving - unlike all the other holidays celebrated in GW - is purely a North American holiday, pretty much ignored by the rest of the world.

Let's celebrate a holiday where one group of people gave another group of people some food during a pause in internecine warfare. In gracious gratitude, the second group gave them blankets with smallpox.
This aside, it doesn't fit well into the GW universe.
Besides, only people from the US celebrate it. It's not even North A., it's a US holiday.
EDIT: After the OP was changed, I am still stating that no country is given its own holiday. It's not like we celebrate the Soviet May Day or anything in Russia on May 1st in GW. It'd be pretty cool though...we could parade around Siege Turtles like the Russians did with the ICBM launchers.

what a stereotype lol
tea drinkin? nope...the accents aswell...how annoying.
Im english and i admit i get so annoyed when i watch friends and Emily (ross's ex) is on it. I bet every american thinks all english people sound like her. BTW theres many accents in england. I hate Emily from friends' accent.
I love watchin simpsons and seeing their portrayel of english people.
back on topic, thanksgiving....nah
for the points in everyone elses posts really and the fact that wouldn't it be weird if all of a sudden they did a festival which didn't appear in any previous years

Nice. It was OK to kill all the Indians because we were tired of paying lower taxes than we currently have.
Anywho, back on topic, NO, we do not need another holiday even between Halloween and Wintersday.
If anything, we need a Holiday in April or May.

more tiny events like what they did with ST.Patricks would be cooler lol those clovers made me laugh
How about they come up with a small festival in april or may time, that would be nice. Celebrating something that's happened since the relase of a game.
Then it would explain why we didn't celebrate it the other years

This is why I never played with yanks in their dis.If you ever went to this area you would always see so many of them craping on in chat and fighting.
Being in the army and having taught US special forces what we know about ,I know that they are a 3rd rate army with 1st rate gear.Anyway enough of this crappy thread.

Thanks RTS.
I think this thread is done. The OP's suggestion was promptly rejected and now people are just talking about each other's cultures. It's off topic now.
