Default Kill ALL minions at the end of each mission.

Seriously...they've bugged up cinematics too many times. I hate it when Rurik makes a speech and he gets mauled by a flesh golem.

Really? I think that's one of the funniest things in the game. It's even better when it's that one mission where Shiro kills everyone and those ghostly spiritual escort characters are trying to have this long conversation while minions growl and take potshots at them.

I won't /notsign you because it gets old (I use Olias a lot), but eh. /neutral.

/signed or at elast if there was an option if you were party leader, as in options.

as survivors or people that want ot take the story seriously miss out a bit, (some of the words are a bit iffy with the minnions attacks)

They had minions stop degenerating to death in cutscenes due to complaints a long time ago already.

Nuking them now in cutscenes would be contraproductive.

But I agree on the minions screwing up cutscenes.

They should make them "invisible" or somehow get rid of them as long as the sequence lasts.

After the cutscene they should appear behind the MM again. Their hp/degen status is preserved already.

And you are right, at the very end of a mission it does not matter if they are dead or alive...^^

/notsigned. I think almost everyone playing the game today has seen the same cutscenes at least once. I think I would rather see any resources expended to fixing this minor problem put elsewhere where things really need fixing.

Unless they add a way to replay cinematics, they MUST do so. They get in the way.

Minions are responsible for the Viznu Square survivor bug. Responses of "its funny" are kinda poor. I mean, its a glitch.

Furthermore, why do minions go nuts and pets not attack things? If they can program pets to go "nuetral" during cut scenes, then so can minions.

Eh, if this is so minor, they can probably do it in no time and have it be combined in a big update.

lol, I agree. I'd prefer it left as is, as it doesnt cause a mission failure, just some chuckling during an animation we've seen a million times if someone in the group doesnt skip it.

If you don't have a sense of humor, then don't take MM's on missions where the minions will attack people.

---Warnung! It's teh spoilarz!---

This one time, I was doing Vizunah Square with several MMs. In the final cutscene, a female assassin was killed by the minions. When the Envoys resurrected the party, the female assassin spoke as main character in cutscene... but using the male voice.

Funny moments like that are great. And without the minions it would not have happened.

That bug's actually unrelated to minions - it happens regularly in Unwaking Waters. I think what happens is that a PC apart from the party leader gets subbed in for the leader, but still uses the leader's voice.

On the general thrust of the thread: As long as it isn't taking time away from something more important, /signed, especially if it was done as a toggle. Longasc, the suggestion isn't to nuke them during ANY cutscene - just the end cutscenes where you don't need them any more because you've finished the mission.

100% agree WHY point this out when their are BUGS that have been around for years?? fix bugs first.
