Really? I can think of many others, myself. From your post though I can tell its high on your list.

Its mostly a matter of simply having some candy canes around just in case, and pinging your morale to your partner/team (if you arent alone) when or if the team may be getting enough DP built up. In a difficult area, someone just use the CC earlier than 45% to be safe, or do that yourself if you are alone with H/H.

In the event of a res shrine wipe loop due to a mob camping on the shrine, its mostly just a matter of using the CC faster, but this scenario thankfully doesnt happen that often if you are careful. There was the one in Slaver's that got fixed (yay) but there still remains a few others.

Edit: And then yes, as mentioned below, there are all the strategies one can employ in the hopes of better avoiding such a situation.

I dont find it a big deal myself, having been through a fair bit of vanquishing, HM dungeons and Legendary Guardian, so:

Use Bow for pulling, better team builds for your heros, rune them up, Use consumables wiser. No reason to change this.

How could you possibly have something called hard mode and implement it in such a way that it's impossible to lose? This is another one of those "MMO mentality" things, isn't it? Why don't you people go play an MMO instead of trying to change this into one?

and each time you get more DP, it becomes alot harder to fight monsters in HM ...

the whole system around the DP is imbalanced ...

whe get morale, wow only +2%,. but when we die ,its direct -15%!!!
When get get only max of +10%...but - of 60%

does nobody start to thinke at, when comparing that, how unbalanced that system is ? it maybe balanced for PvP, where DP can be very important to help in ecide, which side will win over time, but in PvE, this Dp system is just crap and imba

the morale side needs a buff and the malus side needs a nerf, and the sum, a character gets direct per death needs also a nerf...

balanced means for me, that morale and malus have the same max and not that malus can be 6 times bigger, then morale -.-
DP system for PvE should be like > -25/+25 and more NOT
and when we receive morale, or get malus through death, its -+5%
Then the DP system would be balanced for PvE finally.

Plus, revived monsters should also receive death malus, not only we players, because when not, its unfair, why should only we receive DP, and rezzed monsters not ?
and dont see, that rezzed monsters have anyhow lesser HP, then before they were killed and rezzed ...no, they have the exact same HP -.-

that a call balancing >.> uhh, no that i call that Anet didn't make their work correct !!!
DP only destroy the fun factor of PvE, as long its so unbalanced as it is since the beginning of GW ...

the game could really need a refreshed better balanced DP-System, or better no DP-System for pvE at all, as long DP doesnät count for enemies too -.-
This is a good reason why balance and some game mecanism should not be leaved to player

Yeah, its almost like dying is a bad thing intended to be avoided.

PvE is already too easy. The last thing this game needs is to be dumbed down even further. If your group isn't competent enough to avoid getting 60% death penalty on all eight members, you have failed PvE. At least in hard mode, you deserve to be ejected completely. If you think about it, its doing you a favor: obviously you were unprepared, and it gives you a chance to fix it instead of wasting untold hours fighting through it at 60% DP.

/notsigned There are multiple ways to get rid of Death penalty in PvE. Look here if you need more info.

An option when you hit 60 DP could be good. Either return to the outpost or use a Consumable to wipe away your DP.
