Actually, the OP edited and rewrote his entire first post to make it clearer what he meant (so those guys aren't idiots).
Still... /notsigned. Those PvE skills aren't required. And just playing GW:EN gets you the title with a level of effectiveness for anybody to use.

Maybe you should look at when I posted my comment, and when the OP edited their post. What was in the original post was nothing like what is in it now. Obviously you can't infer from the times that what I posted was relevent to the pre edited content.
being verbally abusive for people like you may be easy, but it is you that looks like a fool

So what are we supposed to do that isn't grinding? I mean, sure you can grind one character then play him until you feel like head butting your concrete wall until the foundation gives out is more fun, but what next?
You don't have a choice, really. Either you grind or you sit around for the duration that you're logged.
Or pvp, but this is a pve related post, so I'm not going to get into that.

Snow Bunny,
Is this suggestion a slight change from other ideas in other threads, or the only thing in common here is the subject and a shared desire for change?
The main idea in this thread is the inclusion of requirements for other characters to be able to unlock a title.
Pre-requisites (another way to call it) came to me as a way to minimize the grind necessary for all other characters that a player has or will create - and still expect the player to dedicate a reasonable amount of skill and time to do so.
Reasonable is what I don't think is happening right now, especially with titles that affect the performance of skills that can be quite useful.
Game designers can probably come up with better requirements than the ones I suggest. Maybe an inspired player could come up with a cool set of requirements. That would be great.
You stated "/not signed", so I guess you consider that all is well with the game in that regard. Yours is a respectable opinion, I thank you for your contribution.
But I wonder how can players such as yourself find so much available time and do the same same thing ALL OVER AGAIN for your other characters. Or do you just dedicate one or maybe two characters to play Eye of the North?
Unfortunately for me, I don't have that much time available. I really think it's a pain to do that darn grind ALL OVER AGAIN - I already work in real life, I expect entertainment in a game, not more work. Now why the heck did I bought Eye of North with its neat depending-on-a-title skills if, to acquire and optimize them, I'm only able to spend time and my limited patience for ONLY ONE OF MY CHARACTERS?!?!
Let's be creative here... Grind all the way you want, but please let there be alternatives for those who appreciate Arenanet's initial goal of skill over time...

There's no skill involved, however you slice it.

sounds like a good mechanism there Amon, it would "prove" that the player has dedicated a decent amount of time to that toon. Enough to warrant the unlocking of the skills imo.
moreover its a good way to spend those hundreds of skill points.
so yeah, i support this idea for what thats worth.

What grind is there in playing the game? You get to level 5 for all the GW:EN titles by just beating the game. Luxon/Kurzick titles are account wide already anyway (because you can use PvP characters to get it).

I still have r2 vanguard.. <_<
Getting higher titles for grouping. You want to do ursanway with a pug? Better have r10 norn, and if in DoA, r8 lightbringer.
Some of us don't have time to get that on all of our favorite characters.

I like to bake cakes too. I know where the ingredients are as well... Doesn't it already take skill and practice to make a cake just right for level 20, along with other cooking requirements?
What is nice about the restaurant that I'm in, is that I have all these other kitchens to make my cakes even more delicious. The more delicious they are, the better results I can get. I'm proud of each one of my cakes and couldn't go without making them more delicious.
Now, I'm working in a different kitchen with special ingredients. But this oven that I was given is so slow... It takes months on end to bake just one cake! I think it's fair the time that one cake takes to bake. But a Chef is a skilled connoisseur, not a robot. Am I expected to go through the exact same things to get these special ingredients, over and over again?!
Now, from Chef to Chef. Do you have a better suggestion for a better oven, that still relies on a Chef's skill, but more streamlined? Or are you satisfied with the oven you have?
