Signet of Capture - Change the way it is flagged for PvE
At the moment, Signet of Capture is considered a PvE only skill. Anyone else think that it should be changed back into a normal skill.

what use does the cap sig have in pvp? PCs aren't bosses, thus uncapable skills.

Exactly why it doesn't need the restriction. If they have no use in PvP, you can't exactly claim that making it not a PvE skill would imbalance PvP.

It can, if you got someone new to PvP. They bring a cap sig thinking they will be unlocking a new skill off some random morsal, if that were to happen in say AB for example, 3 partys of 4 .. if 1 person per party brought a cap sig, 3 people on a 24 player map have useless and unuseable skills. It would be the same as a Bunny Thumper bringing a bow attack.

Well I've yet to see any legitimate points to oppose this. So let's go ahead with the change.

I can't think of why you'd have to have one other pve only skill on your bar or why someone couldn't do without it.

Bloodflesh you are missing the point. This isn't about letting you bring a SoC into PvP.
Its about the fact that you can now only use 3 PvE skills on a skill bar at any given time. Thus, using a SoC can gimp a build uneccesarily.

Because it makes no sense for a signet of capture to be limited along with the new PvE skills.

I understood the point perfectly.
You how ever are missing my argument.
Useless in PvP = PvE only skill.

Many people already do that; they bring resurrection skills into AB and FA. You can't prevent morons.

That doesn't mean that they have to be shoved into the PvE skills group and as such get limited by the 3 PvE skill restriction.

I can see an argument for having two elites plus other good pve skills = overpowered in pve

No.
Worst. Idea. Ever.
Signet of Capture is a skill for capping an Elite from the corpse of a Boss. As there are no bosses in PvP there is no need to take it, even if you could. Leave as is, imo.

Albeit I personally use no pve-only skills.

*loads a slingshot and aims it at the maker of this thread*
Okay slam on the brakes...What even made think about writing that?
Sig of cap is PvE only and always has been. There were "bugs" allowing PvE's cappin PVP skills once a upon a time, long since repaired..
Gawd someone close this...
