Why not have a Normal Mode, Hard Mode, and Vanquished Mode?
I'm not sure exactly how many people would use this, but if you vanquish an area, you should be able to go there and have no enemies there (with the exception of any enemies attached to a quest that you might have up). That might be kind of helpful, if you vanquish an area before doing quests there.

Becuase Runners would just vanquish the way to droks and then run the hole day... I did all Quests before the hardmode came and i think i will do all others in normalmode. If you only want to vanquish an area you can also just abbandon active quests before starting the area...

But unless the entire party has vanquished the area on the character in the party, then the mode could not be used. Much like HM can't be used on an account that hasn't beat the game and a character below level 20.

So you want to be able to go around a zone without anything worthwhile to do in it?

Seems quite pointless to me. If everyone in the group has to have it vanquished, what's the point? If it's vanquished it's most likely already fully mapped and nobody will need a run.

Probably for cartography...but if you want to map the area just do it as you're vanquishing.
The only other reason I can imagine is if you want to see the sights without having to fight your way there.

I really don't see a problem for it, but what would be the usage for it? I have 100% of Elona and Cantha, and I've never fought to get the titles, I just ran around with a build and used heroes and henchmen as scape goats, if that's what you're after. Chests, I'm sure wouldn't spawn without enemies, so chest running would be pointless, etc. What are the reasons for it? If it were possible, I'm almost positive, the option wouldn't be account wide. You go to a vanquished character, then switch to your new character who can now run freely in all the areas, no, I doubt it.

Makes chest running and other activities laughable, unless chests wouldnt spawn. The only use for it I see is if you vanquished but didnt stay to map and wish to go back - but just do that in NM.

It would make CR easy, but make it conditional like you have to ahve Legendary Vanquisher to obtain this bonus. By the time you have this title you most likely only have certain titles like Treasure, Wisdome; sweet, alc,etc to do
So /signed under the condition you have LV and all the party memebers have got LV

yes but it still has the increased ease of getting treasure hunter and it takes an INCREDIBLY HUGE ammount of chests for max.

Ummm, chests only spawn with monsters, so you have no legs to stand on.
Sometimes I'd rather just run around and not fight. There are times when it just gets repetitive, boring and frustrating. Especially in the areas where the monsters are too low to give experience. If they give me nothing, I'd rather they just leave me alone. I absolutely hate Everquest, but I have always liked that monsters who know you will kill them aren't stupid enough to throw themselves on your swords like in this game.
And before anyone chimes in with the "but they are stupid monsters, so they should be mindlessly hostile" argument... if they are smart enough to know who has the least health and armour and go right for them, they should be smart enough to know they are going to die.

What the hell would be the point of entering an area with no monsters, and I'm guessing since you vanquished the area and everyone in your team has, you have all the outposts near it.

Then we could vanquish Ascalon with 8man party from TOA?
I like it
Also vanquishing takes long time and people often don't have time to map in the same session.
In the "vanquished mode" chests shouldn't spawn

You meant just pets, chests and quests spawns...?
No. Why to? Just to run around making things plain cheap? Some quests are meant so you have to kill a lot of stuff before getting to a really cheap fight, like Galrath the villain.

Think about it!
You vanquish an area in HM and then re-enter it in the future and there are no enemies to kill! Where is the fun and what is the point? this would only aid exploration and that is easy in NM anyway.
Oh but you could open a few chests without having to kill the foes around it... hm...... /not signed!
