I think we especially need it now that the HoM has hit the GW world. We want to display multiple sets of 15k armour, but where the hell are we meant to put it? I'd love to get multiple armour sets, but there jsut isn't enough room on my character to actually buy any more. I have 2, and that's all I have room for. But I'd like to get two more.

They have needed this since the game was released. If you don't believe me go ask an Ele from 2 years ago - when you needed 4 different sets of armor to reflect your elemental skills and use. A separate window needs to exist as a *Mystic Pack* perhaps at the end of a quest. This pack would go in a back pack and allow the person to have upto say 20 armor slots and 10 weapon slots. The window option for weapons would be expanded from 4 combinations to 5 combinations. An armor window, like the weapons combination window, would allow the stacking of armor sets in slots that worked the same way. Then to change the armor set or weapon set one would simply click the correct button in the window, as one does with weapons now. The mystic bag would take up one bag slot, but would not appear or open at the same time as the other 35 slots. One would either have the mystic bag open or the general backpack, belt pouch, and bag.
Does it require programming, yes. Should have been done this way before first release. It is not as if they did not prepare the collections before first release. The need for this kind of storage should have been foreseeable.

With Hall of Monuments having 10 core armor sets / 9 expansion unlocks... and I don't want to salvage "prestige" just to have room.
At worst, could we use the Hall of Monuments in a similar method at the Festive Hats npc, once in the HoM we can "get it back" from the HoM cheaply.

Yes, I definitely agree. As you have mentioned, I've been happy with my Druids, Ancient and Luxon armor sets until now, and it wasn't breaking the Xunlai chest. But now I've already bought the Norn regalia, and hope to get at least 2 more sets to add to my HoM, if not more. But my storage is already full to bursting with an armor compartment, an extra crafting materials compartment, a mini and dye compartment and a random compartment. Anet shouldn't give us too many... maybe 2 or 3 spaces for a full set of armor (2-3 spaces each for headgear, chest wear, etc) as that is all you would need if you have an armor set for a number of different builds. But I do want to start of GW2 with enough sets of armor to clothe an army. Definitely /signed.

If they maybe could make an add in the onlineshop to buy a special armorstorage add, instead of making us buy a whole new character. Then the people that needs it can buy it, and those who dont want it doesnt have to buy it ^^

Space to specifically store armor would be a very useful feature.

I very much need space to store armor, since as others have said, where do we put it when we are trying to get them to place into HoM? Treya's sets fill all my storage, relegating the overflow to my other characters, meaning I have a huge amount of trouble trying to play any other characters anymore than my main, let alone try to get armor for them.

Signed! I'd love that. Or how about a little closet or something, maybe in the guild hall? Well, that might not work because so many people are guildless. Someone commented that not everyone has several armor sets and may not need or want the extra storage. So maybe if someone wanted the extra storage, they'd have to pay some sort of in game price for it. But either way, there should be something special just for armor. My idea? For each character, they each have their own little "closet" or whatever, each one different for each character. Like maybe you could select an option like in Hall of Monuments that says "Store Vabbian armor" or something and then "Wear Vabbian armor", but I know lots of people use combos so that wouldn't work. But yeah, how about a closet for armors? Similar to the idea of a stable or whatever for pets. And if not for this Guild Wars, what about Guild Wars 2? Because the Hall of Monuments is for them, and I know a lot of people have like 10 armor sets.

How narrow-minded are you? Yes there are indeed no doubt people like that out there but does it cross your mind that some just like to collect?
Some people have multiple sets for running different builds...

I like to keep my 1k sets as they get replaced by my 15k sets, but I tend to salvage them due to lack of storage. It'd be really nice to have a place to put them; my warrior and monk have all of their bags filled with armor sets/weapon sets, so between that and salvages, I have 15 inventory slots or so.

I put different inscriptions and such on my armor, and use different sets for different purposes. Having a new tab in the storage chest that is for a particular character (meaning every character has its own armor tab) just for storing armor sets would be great, and help keep armor and headpieces out of my backpack/bags.

Funny Guru fact- even though some suggestions may be good for some and don't hurt others in any way, people will still /notsign.

Reasons? Here are my reasons. Modify your armor better, rather than being a showoff. I have one suit of armor, and when I get a new one, I replace the old one and salvage it. I have one armor set, which is Monument. I've had Primeval and Elite Gladiator before. Both have been salvaged.
I use ALL builds with this armor. I simply modded it so my headset changes. I have so much room, I store other stuff for other people on my account because they ran out of room.
Box 1, headpieces. Box 2, weapon mods. Box 3, dye. Box 4, minipets, then the materials slot is used accordingly.
I don't need the extra room, you don't either. Quit whining. Just learn to trash old armor...
The only way I see this being useful, is it allows you to store maybe 5 armor sets. Meaning, you can store up to 5 headpieces, chests, leggings, etc. It will show the picture of them on the slot, and that's all that can be stored within that. People who have all the armor sets just need to suck it up. The space would be shared by all characters.

It's not to show off. It's for me, to have some variation of how my main character looks.
In terms of gameplay...it could be for different uses. Sentry's insigs for running. Sentinel's insigs for PvP and high level areas with lots of eles. Knight's insigs for most areas in GWEN and hard mode early areas with alot of melee. Thats just for warrior. Different individual pieces of the same armor set for different weapon runes, different builds for different occasions.
Monks have it worse off...55's, 600's, runners, general prot, smite and heal...I have 3 sets of armor with more than one head design for each set.
Your attitude towards those who have multiple sets, telling them to "suck it up" saying that if you don't need/want something, they shouldn't either...bah. That's horsecrap in a can. If you're content with one armor set and changing runes around, making one single set of armor that works for "all builds", that's fine. Other people aren't content with running the same build. If you have one set for all builds, then you're a subpar player...because different builds benefit and augment different combos of runes and insignias. Take your warrior for example: do you only use a strength build with a sword? Do you ever mix things up? If you don't...then you're really not playing the game to its fullest potential.

Saving 60k+ for a set just to trash it is not a viable option for probably the majority. I understand where you are coming from, but disagree with the attitude. What works for you may not work for others.
For me, its not showing off. I like to change how my character looks from time to time. I like to have a set from each chapter/expansion (not a rule - it just seems to work out that way). Its also sometimes useful to have a set run one insignia while another set has another. Different sets for different uses as well as a change of look. I have trashed 15k sets because I needed the space, but that is exactly why I am upset about the storage problem.
My monk has five sets and eyes a sixth. She can (and has) filled her HoM display space (this was never the goal in and of itself) but as a result has also filled an entire storage tab just with her armor sets and well onto a second one. The problem is compounded by other characters having at least two sets, at least one taking up inventory space because common storage is nearly filled by Treya's armor. I dont think I should have to trash armor and save and rebuy it every time I want to change how I look. Its quite expensive. And you know, storage space was WHY they implemented the Festival Hat NPC. It makes more sense that one is implemented for armor.
