Weapon storage
OK I know there are a million and one storage threads on here and most of them revolve around one thing: more of it. However I think if ArenaNet were going to do a simple storage space buff then they'd have done it as part of the release of GW:EN. I think something more useful would be a 'weapon bag'.
Think about it - what takes up the most space in a PvE character's inventory? All the different weapons you have to keep a hold of for the various setups you might want to use (obviously not all at once, but if your characters kept currently-unused weapons in storage you would have no room for anything else. This is especially true of the Ranger - even restricting ourselves to Flatbows and Recurve Bows, a Ranger could have well over a dozen weapons given the nead for a Sundering, Barbed, Crippling (for PvP), Elemental (for Barraging), Zealous (ditto), Silencing (for interrupters), and numerous other mods.
What I'm suggesting isn't just a straight up storage buff - there are plenty of reasons why that won't happen. First is that it would encourage farmers to hoard items instead of selling them quickly for a lower price, driving up prices generaly. This is the opposite of what Guild Wars is supposed to be about - being 'grind free' and accessible to people who don't play 25 hours a day. It also goes against what ArenaNet seem to be trying to do - driving down prices so that non-hardcore players can afford what was once hyper-expensive equipment. Second is that it would offer nothing that buying an extra character slot to create a 'mule' character doesn't - and ArenaNet obviously have an interest in selling extra character slots. There's nothing wrong or evil about that - selling extras like characters slots and unlock packs is one of the ways they keep the game free of subscription charges - but it does mean that a simple storage buff (say extra Xunlai box[es] or extra Backpacks on characters) is unlikely to happen.
How I would avoid the game economy downside of extra storage is simple: have a 'weapon bag' for a character that would take up one inventory slot (as the Incubator Kit does) but offer maybe the same number of storage slots when opened as a backpack or storage box. The way to prevent it from being used for hoarding is that the bags would only hold weapons that were customised for the character in question. This way it alleviates the problem of weapons the character actually uses taking up storage space, but it doesn't make life easier for farmers (since customised weapons are obviously worthless). Thoughts?

You can use your heros to store extra weapons for you. 25 heroes per character is one main hand and one off hand weapon a piece. Over a ten character NF/Phro/Factions linked account, that is 500 weapons you can store.

Unless you use all 3 of your warrior heroes, it really doesn't matter what's on them. It's more of a storage space.

Well, what do you do when you want to switch weapons on a Warrior hero?
I do Hammer, Sword, and Fiery Sword (when I have an Ele with Mark of Rodgort), and I don't see where a bow would fit in.

Yeah, but there is all sorts of stuff you can do. For instance, storing a shield/offhand on the guy with a hammer (which you can do... the shield won't be equiped by your hero can hold onto it for you). The only thing REALLY annoying about this is keeping track of where everything is.

Yeah but you can't get access to them while you're playing. After all if all that is needed is extra Xunlai-type storage space then a mule character slot would do.
My idea is for a bag (similar to the Moa Chick hatching kit) that you can carry around with you, and get access to whenever you need to change weapons.

Eh, if we had a weapon storage, what else would you put in your regular storage?
I think selling stuff to make room is good enough for me.
