Event Hats - Max Armor to your Profession
I think Event Hats (hats from Wintersday. Halloween, etc) should have the same kind of stats as glasses, blindfold, etc. The armor of normal headgear of that profession and +1 attribute. It really isn't asking for much. The only time people wear that event headgear is usually during that event. But some people like that headgear more than their professions
Just a thought. I'm sure this was brought up before.

If you show the hat to the Festival Hat Keeper, he will make copies for 10gold each. So basically, your idea is saying 10 gold for a ax head piece, which are usually 1k for any of your characters.

It should be 10g for no armor, and 1k for max armor.
OR
Just make it like hero armor.

I wouldn't mind paying 10k to get max armour for my hats.

Yup. My attempt at this died a long time ago, and glancing over my OP, it looks like I had some misspellings that could have created some misunderstandings...

Agreed on this, however I think they should keep the no armor ones also so basically another npc I guess without the need of materials, just pick and go.

As long as you have to pay much more gold to make te 'reinforced' copies. Something between 1k and 15k.
They could be called with a 'Reinforced' prefix:
- Reinforced Dragon Mask.

It should just go over the headpiece you already have.
Ok there are headpieces which might be tricky but Mesmers assassins and rangers have masks no prob there and Monks and Necros have Tattoo and scar headpieces.
Pretty sure Ele could just show through the hat,Paragons should be fine too.
Warriors Ritualists and Dervishes are likely to be the problem characters.
Is there a flaw I havn't covered how many armour headpieces couldnt conveniently be covered by festival hats ?
Since I dont wear them outside of towns its not a problem for me so am not going to check all the armours myself.
