But A.Net could include a seperate district for players who like to PuG (for one weekend). This suggestion won’t force… sorry… encourage other players to pug, but grouping would be much easier.
I wonder how empty this district would be…

No, because I wont be able to complete half of the NF missions for a weekend. I just started going for Guardian of Elona.

only if we have a no map travel weekend afterwards, and then a no storage weekend.
I know! we could have "random weekend" when random game mechanisms would be deactivated for our fun!

Awww, but then the only thing this weekend could do is make you laugh even more .
But really... I don't think its a very good idea. I was pugging with some people to do the Deep the other day, and it was a total mess. Usually the only people i play with are those in my guild or the people on my friends list.

EDIT: To be clear - /not signed, as a weekend like that would empty the servers and do nothing constructive. I just think some of you should think again about PuGs and H/H. Because we got noobs on one side, but we also got elitist jerks on the other.

Wrong. Helping people who need advice is one thing. Dragging an incompetent warrior through a mission who runs away from one group because he took 70 damage and straight into 12 other enemies to die with Frenzy and crying he knows what he's doing and the monks are noobs? I'll get my warrior. See how long you can last.

Why not just retitle this thread...
"PuG versus AI-lover Slamfest XXIV"
The thread that suggested a "7 hero weekend" received the same type of response, just the flipside of the coin. Both could do nothing but alienate the other group more.

Actually jetdoc having 7 heroes doesnt stop people from pugging.
Stopping people from using h/h....stops them quite suprisingly.

You phail, next time buy a brain.
When I started GW, I was a noob yes. I was a big noob in a big noob guild. I used to asked the noobiest questions and learnt from my guildies.
Solution for current noobs in the game? Join a guild that caters to new players. Leave me alone in my all Pro HM alliance and with my heroes and henchmen plzkthnxbye.
I havnt played GW for over two years to be told its funny because I dont help new players. They have a very well informed Wiki now. They have these forums. You can even type /help and /wiki in the game if your having problems and get help for yourself. Or better yet read the manual.
I had a friend's brother frantically PM'ing me asking how to buy new armor and he was pretty much chatting BS. I just put him on ignore where he still is. If he had asked me once only and politely it might have been different.

I dont really think this should be done, encouraging groups is fine but forcing is a bit harsh. I think this would be a bit of fun ^^. But Probs a disater. Fun for those "everyone outside my f-list sucks!" types group together and talk about your e-peens for the weekend . Yes there are wammo 12 year olds who agro everything with mending blame the monk then ragequit, who hasnt seen it? But prople need to learn that they arnt the only player in the game who can acctually get somwhere and that PUGing can acctually be fun .

This thread has amused me. For that I will grant the OP his/her wish for one weekend, with the following stipulation:
Friendly fire will also be enabled.

We've debated this at length in another thread, and I'm not going to continue it here.
I wholeheartedly disagree with your view, and if they implemented such a weekend, I would gather you would see the number of PuGs available plummet significantly during that weekend.

Make everything soloable without solo-build for 1 weekend, instead!
Hey, Red Sonya! I'll be your friend ...
@ 1 platinum the hour only!

I think the OP is just jealous of us being capable to commandeer Heroes and Henchmen.
That and also very sad and lonely.

At that kind of deal, I'll take you up on that offer. 400 hours and you have to sing "The Wheels On The Bus" to me for the entire time. One mistake and I cut the wages in half each time.

Hm. Good idea, if I wanted to log into a game then fail several times because of lack of compitance in the average PuG.
If someone does not want to do a pick up group, they're entitled to play solo or with guild mates. You have no right to say otherwise.

well thats a weekend i wont load-up GW at all, I can guarantee that.
i'll pug once in a while, but if i can't even do the simplest quest with henchmen then i don't really wan't to play. people just aren't reliable the way heroes are.
