Default The most annoying thing i would like fixed

I absolutly HATE noobs on missions when they keep drawing on the map >.<

I think first it should tell us who is drawing and 2nd, it should limit how much you can draw

I would love for the devs to somehow improve the sync between the client and server, or at least do something so I don't run way ahead, the game detects I got caught on a little piece of geometry, then snaps me back to that protrusion.

As to the whole drawing on the map thing, I'd like to see 1 of 2 things done:

1. Only the leader can draw on the map
2. Each person drawing on the map is color coded

What's the deal with people putting swastikas all over the compass? I think the swastika is the only way I've seen the compass be abused. I don't give a crap about penis and boob drawings.

Color would be a nice start, but people could try to be a certain color for whatever reason - such as a red swastika.

I don't think this is a big enough deal though.

Good idea to have a dot next to the person who's drawing on the map. Seen so many people draw on it like idiots trying to express their poor artistic ability. I'm ready for a change.

O teh noes! Someone is putting little white lines on 1/32 of my screen! The humanity! Srsly, deal with it, it's really not that big a deal. If you can't handle a tiny swastika once in a while, maybe go play a board game :/

I bet it'd cut down on the number of people doing it if players were held accountable for everything they do to the compass. Show us who they are, and it'll diminish. As it is, the best way to tell who's screwing with the compass is to look for whoever's going "WTF, who's doing that? Stop it!"

Ehh, dirty pictures and dumb Nazi symbols are annoying in a "not this shit again" kinda way, but they don't offend me. Mainly I'd want this to put a stop to the kind of player who sees the map being used to give good directions/tactics, and thinks that it's a good time to start scribbling circles or pinging the map a million times.

/signed for color coding or an indicator to show who's doing what.

The name of the player that is drawing should blink in the party panel until his drawing disappears.

bad concept about Heroes and Henchs ..

give us 7 heroes..give heroes a muhc better control panel with muhc more orders and the possibility to order your hero team formations...

give the heroes personal AI's (FF12 gambit system ftw)

no henchmen anymore.. only heroes..old henchs become heroes..especially Devona, Mhenlo and Co.


group play has never existed in GW really ..everyone would and will play GW solo..if possible... no one pugs..until anet forces people to pug ...so give us for the sake of this game finally 7 heroes ..

people hwich want to pug with others.. will search then for people >.> otherwise peole make so or so when then stuff ingame when not with heroes with guild mates ...

Group play always has, and always will exist in GW. Phoenix, just because you don't know how to play with other people, does not mean nobody else does either. I don't PUG, but I do play with other people.

Since more than 1 person can draw at the same time, there could still be problems with the color coding/icon ideas. Best way to avoid this is to play with people you know (guild/alliance/friends list) or hero/hench. I don't see it as a game breaking problem, and don't think it would do anything but cause delays on things we need.

lol..you know a shit about me..so don't try to do so, as if you know me and how I play...so shut up..only to have a way to let me look like a beginner

Sure exists group play in GW..but it is and will never be bigger than the part of the community ,which prefers to play GW mostly only whenever they can solo or H/H-Solo...just to avoid problems with leavers..premature kiddies and total noobs, which have no clue about what they are doing..like mending kamikaze wammos ....

When 7 heroes will exist..group play will not die...like it didn't with 3 heroes only ... people which want to pug..will so further, even when anet gives us 7 heroes ...

but those people..which are annoyed of the stupidity of henchs and their too weak and very often disadvantaging AI's and Skill Bars, their non ability to be flagged intelligently and single...

Why do we still need dumb unpractical henchmans..when Anet implements the better version of a henchmen in form of heroes into the game ...
That is like as if you deck a plate for dinner and instead of a knife and a fork someone gives you 2 forks ...

henchs are simple not needed anymore....also it makes absolutely no sense to implement into a game 25 different heroes..when you can use then in your party only 3 of them .... thats simple stupid and not well thought out.

Giving the player 7 heroes would give the player also the possibility to play better and with more tactical thoughts ...also the player could make itself more thought about "group builds" what its the most interesting part of giving us 7 heroes...beign able to try to build up group builds with a good synergy...

as long 7 heroes are pve only..it should be absolutely ok....asie the hero battles.. are heroes so or so mostly only a pve part of concent...for pvp there isn#t even a place for 7 heroes..so what should this whole stuff of complaing versus this improvement of the hero system...

when the group play of GW would really die, when they give us 7 heroes.. then only cause of anet making pug way not interestign enough, or cause of the mentality of players and the system...that punishes a party with mostly non success. when someone leaves or receives a disconnect and can#t reconnect ...

When parties would receive npc clones of the characters. which leaved or got irreconnectable dc'ed...such people surely would't complain about the idea of giving the game 7 heroes instead of 3 ...

The argument of searching simple someone other and playing with 6 heroes is no argument at all....its just 2 players and 6 heroes, but each player controls only its own 3 heroes and when player 2 leaves..then your only 7 and still control only your own 3 heroes ..the other 3 become then 3 stupid henchs...

and with that said i can go play direct again fully with H/H , be then 8 and have too my 4 dumb henchs...


let us face the truth ...anet is just too lazy to make now this change, cause

1. they are working mostly only on GW2 ...
and

2. they fear that much players will leave GW..because of the massive whines about those no sayers.. which fear...gw's group play will die, if they give us 7 heroes ....


asnd that being that... all this stuff of those no sayers is so extreme small minded..so say something will die... when the suggested thing doesn't got even TESTED....

only if Anet tests it.. they and especially WE will really see..what will happen to the community and if somethign really will change to the group play of GW and if PUG's will really die out.


Thats again as if for example... nobody would know now yet...that 1+1 is 2 , but then comes someone and says..without having checked and tested first.. 1+1 is 5...

Then its imo normal.. or?, that the ones, which believe in 1+1 is 2... that won't believe the one which says 1+1 is 5..until he proves it through a test


thats the sad thing about Anet.. you need only to whine here or on other elite forums about stuff here loud and long enough about things what you think what will happen..and anet does nothing ...nor do we see anywhere....what suggestions or so is Anet anyhow testing on test servers...if those suggested things maybe points for later implementation ... or not with statements.. which show us the results of these tests and on which problems they maybe have met, which they can't solve to make it possible for implementaton maybe...

Ok, so, the color coding would make the spam-drawing of the map prettier?

And, do you want it color-coded so you can flame the people drawing in team chat? "OMG! F*CKING STOP IT J00 N00BZ0R!!!"

Basically, limit the drawing, or just eliminate it, I never see it used for anything productive anyway.

then u've met yet in parties you were in only idiots and perverts....

But I for myself can say..that I know enough people..which use the drawing ability to its most best way to explain tactics with it ... and I also do this...when people just don't can understand what people want from them over chat and the team is not in ts...


when peopel are then still too dumb to understand even the most simplest drawings not..then I can't help those and I've to doubt about their IQ's being not higher than a dust corn in a vacuum >.>

This seems like a minor issue, however that being said I hardly play with PUG's anymore and when I do play with guildies and people in the alliance we usually know who is drawing and what they're trying to explain. The map is useful in situations that is to complicated to type or talk extinsively. Now all that being said I really don't care who is drawing on the map, but if it would help stop the stupid,perverted, freak shows on here by identifying them, then I suppose I might be for that.
