Moar Unyielding Aura please.
On topic, skills that allow you to hurt team mates are bad, and even if it was self target the 30 second recharge would make it garbage. You would get much better healing out of heal party and natural energy regen. 4 energy every 3 seconds allows for 2 heal partys and almost another in the same recharge of your skill but is more available and doesn't need a life sac. And besides, blood magic is garbage, instead of bringing a necro and speccing blood you could just bring another monk.

This skill would be so FREAKING great if it weren't for the necro sociopaths who'd sacrifice the whole team out of ignorance or spite. I love this idea, I really do. But /notsigned because the potential for abuse is unbelievable.

I agree with the potential for abuse but from what I have read on this forum who PUGs anyway? Also they way I wanted to set it up is you can use it on pets or minions. making it more useful. Spike you golem, heal the party, raise a golem.

Interesting, though as you said the chance of abuse is evident. My first thought when I saw it was that it would be simple to drag a pet along and basically use the pet's health as the source of health for the infusion, thereby having an expendable health source without hurting your allies.
Depending on how much this is 'nerfed' to handle abuse possibilities, however, how much use would it end up being when it would probably end up being easier to simply bring a straight heal?
But that's just my two cents

A Monk with secondary Necro would love this skill: if an annoying melee keep rushing ahead, over extending, the Monk can just LtS that melee to serve some purpose. Rez, LtS, rez, LtS, etc.

It's an interesting concept, for sure.
Targets could range from pets, spirits, self, npc's, minions, teamates, etc.
It really adds a twist to strategy. Off the top of my head, how nice would this skill have accompanied the old Ranger skill Otyugh's Cry ( if memory serves, this used to allign all local animals to you)?
Minion bombing just got easier.
I don't think in an MMO this would be a good idea. Fun as all get out but not a mechanic you want to see in an MMO.
Perhaps if they added the caveat of NPC's only.
I like the idea, just not the enviornment.

skills that have a negative effect on a single ally while having a positive effect on the other allies can be an interesting concept but this gonna become a joke in RA, and all sorts of pve.
btw, if this will be castable on pets or random npcs it will be the greatest overpower ever.

Still /notsigned; you'll get the sociopaths who will LtS the baby turtles or something right at the end of Gyala Hatchery. :P
It's still open to abuse if you can harm anything but yourself. Minions? You cripple the MM. Spirits? You could be screwing with the rit's other abilities, like the condition removal of Mend Body And Soul. Pets? Ranger shutdown. And there are already some sacrifice skills, so...

Um.. no.
There should never be a way for you to purposely and intentionally kill a teammate. That's just begging to be abused. Hello griefers! This is the skill for you!
Your comment about "who uses PUGs" is irrelevant - some people *do* use PUGs, and ANet would never do something to make that experience worse than it is.
I could see something like this being usable on your undead minions or your pet, but not other teammates. Oh, and guess what - in your little example about Livia bleeding Koss a little - he'd probably pound them into the ground for doing that, so again, no.
In fact, the way the game portrays necros seems to imply that they have no regard for their own lives - there isn't any precedent for them not caring about their other teammates... they have no qualms about bleeding themselves or sacrificing health.

Uhmm sorry but it is really too powerful lol
Think about this build.
Using Dark Aura? LMAO. There's a reason why you can not hex yourself or ally or sac other ally! lol
Plus there wont be another campaign coming out. Why bother about new skill now?

I need a way to kill W/Mo's in my AB teams. Although to be fair, they do die pretty well by themselves.

Exactly, this would be way abused, and it'd be overpowered if used properly. People would sacrifice allys in RA
