Auto-rep buff
You know how you have the Norn, Asura, Vanguard, and Dwarf buff, and when you click your title it displays at the top what it does? Well, sometimes people forget to click on the title (especially if they'd rather be showing off a different one) to allow for the buff to happen. So my idea was to have the buffs automatically happen. If you're in Norn territory, you automatically get that buff (but consistent with your current rank), and so on. If you're attacking Destroyers only (like in a dungeon) you should get the dwarf buff. What's everyone else think?

It is rather silly the way it's set up. I agree.

I spent a week filling books for points, and I lost track of how many times I forgot to switch my titles around. And really, how many titles do you see nowadays that aren't related to a buff?

With all the titles I've got progress on, it's rather difficult to find the right title without digging through the list.

It's not like you can't just go "Aw DAMN!" and click. A bit late, but better than never. Still, I always forget either that or Lightbringer, so whatever. /signed, does more good than harm.
But personally, I'm with tyla. I'd much, MUCH rather have the Reputation Bounty thing go up as soon as I zone than something I can instantly fix with one click. It always annoys me when I clear like two mobs, then realize I never asked for the bounty. >_<

For the most part the condition for activation is simple:
Asura/Norn activate when in those lands.
Ebon Vanguard/LB/Dwarf activate when you can see one of the effected foes.
But what should happen when your meeting both triggers ?
- Norn lands have you facing both Charr and Destroyers above ground, though the destroyers are a 1 off quest spawn.
- Asura lands have Destroyers
- The final part of the Ebon Vanguard missions has both Charr and Destroyers at once. Though, since they are fighting each other, most people would wait for one side to get killed. So we can ignore this one.
But which title should take preference ?
Personally I'd prefer the foe specific effects.

I would also like the effect icon to be hidden when it has no effect.

Just got finished with some Realm of Torment quests (as a little break from EotN) and realized -- afterward! -- I didn't have my Lightbringer title turned on. Doh!
Having rank-based titles/buffs turn on automatically in the appropriate region(s) would be very nice.

Eh... hm...
No.
There are destroyers in Charr, Asura and Norn lands.
There are Charr in Norn lands.
ike now, people have to choose the bonus they want. You may want the Delver bonus when facing Destroyers in Charr lands.
You may want to activate the vanguard bonus when facing Charr in Norn lands.
Like all skills, they must be activated in order to work. They are just like the Charm animal skill, you just activate it much less frecuently.

Well that's true. Another idea would be that if you didn't like the default auto-set, you could still change it should you so desire. But you'd at least have SOMETHING on that would be helping. And then when you get back to town you'd have your regular title still displaying instead of your rank title.
