Getting annoying after 10 wins in RA
Im getting very irrated that after 10 wins in RA your team either leaves because their know there gonna get killed in TA
I dont think its fair that you put an RA vs TA team because the TA team has specific builds or spikes that u guys dont have,
Sign this forum if u think after 10 wins people shouldnt have to fight TA teams

Why are we making people play things they don't want to play? If I wanted to play TA I would have started there.

EDIT: doh! Yes, I did - but the whole wording threw me off.

DNC, did you read that at ALL? He just said he didn't want to be paired in TA.
maybe stages of RA? 5+ wins goes to a different stage where they fight other people with 5+wins for a higher balth/championship whatever reward.

If they are moved to TA it's because the 'system' considers them a team good enough to stand TA.
BUT the team may change during those fights.
They should be moved to TA ONLY if the team is THEM VERY SAME in the 10 fights.
10 fights, one leaves, 11th fight is in RA.
10 fights, the same 4 members: 11th fight is in TA.
5 fights, one leaves, the counter resets. 15 Fights, the members didn't changed since the 5th, 16th fight is in TA.
So, the count to go to TA should start from the last time the party changed.
That is what they should change.
They could also make that if you don't resing and win with 3 members in TA, they are moved to RA, so they could go back again to TA if they stand 10 fights in RA with the new team.

Every time I've gone on to TA I've won at least one match there. I think the OP is overestimating the level and organization of resistance at TA.

MithranArkanere, I agree with everything in your post other than this snag

So, if you get to another 5 straight with the three old players, will those 3 only get another +1 glad point? shouldn't they get +2 glad points?
And Freke, your idea seems more like a Tournament than a Random Arena

I think you should do RA until you lose or until 3 team members leave or something of that sort. It's easier that way. Since you have to get 100 glad points in order to get the first rank, you could have to win 5 fights 100 times, or 10 fights 50 times, which is very rare, considering the most less experienced people fight in RA, and you often don't get a good team with a support, healer, tank, and spiker.

XDDD, no the win strike counter, that would be character based, not party based.
The counter to 'travel' to TA.
Imagine 5 characters.
The 'Team' fights for 25 fights before getting bored.
0 fights: A,B,C stay always in the Team.
Fights 1..6: D stays from fight 1 to fight 6 ("gg, thx, sy").
Start of Fight 7: E fills D's gap after his leave after the 6th win ("Hi").
Fights 7..17: A,B,C and E win then 10 consecutive fights.
Fights 18..25: They move them to TA and win another 7 fights.
What they get?
A,B and C get 1+2+3+4+4=14 points for 25 fights.
D gets 1 points for 5(6) fights
E gets 1+2+3=6 points for 15(19) fights.
But they would get moved to TA only after 10 consecutive fights of the same team.
That's what I meant.

Not sure about this part. Sounds like some exploiting could be done by teams already in TA.

The trip to TA was a change implemented quite a long time ago. It was put in place to combat the degenerate builds that can randomly appear in RA. There were people getting 100+ wins in RA which meant you could enter with a team, get destroyed, enter again with a new team, and face the exact same team again, pretty much immediately. Now that teams get sent to TA, it becomes much more of a challenge.

Stop whining about getting Gladiator. It is MUCH easier than going 10 streak 25 times. Also, stop whining about going to TA. It is to make sure good teams put together don't stay together indefinitely.

It stops teams being able to rack up massive streaks in RA.
Unlike in TA no one can build to beat that team so they stay around a lot longer.

Tanks aren't needed in RA.
For RA all you really need is a healer, 2 good dmg dealers, and some non idiot

Starting from Ra i lose alway at 12th battle. Maybe Anet put some kind of curse on me O_o ç_ç
Seriously i never quit the game even if someone leave, go to ra etc etc.
Today i got my greatest satisfaction.
All 3 party died and i always use my res signet (the other don't bring res )
Twe of party leaves because i am 1 vs 3.
So i won against 2 ele and 1 ranger (i'm running with HoA spear Chuker)
F**k all leavers

^^.
Exactly.
Yeah, of course you don't want to go to TA, it's harder. That's why the consec bonuses mean something.
It's perfectly possible to get a good team in RA and have 20+ streaks in TA.

If you can get 10 wins in RA, that means you have a decent team (for RA at least) and you probably will win another 10 in RA.
Meaning?
ULTIAMAETE GLADIATORZ FARM LOL
Moving you to TA prevents this

I can't believe people are /signing this. OK, maybe not. This is Sardelac after all.
1) sync a team of 4 and go roll RA all day.
2) get into a decent RA team and roll RA all day.
3) there will be far less people in TA because most do it for the glad points.
4) glad title will be even more meaningless.
Whoever said "For RA all you really need is a healer, 2 good dmg dealers, and some non idiot", more like magebane, magebane and more magebane.

Didn't thought about that... that would be a problem... but the solution is easy: Only teams that were randomly formed in RA would go back from TA to RA.
That is not unfair, since a team that started in TA outpost can probably go back to the outpost and make a new team like they did before. And they took less 'risks' in party forming since their team was (or should have been) prepared and balanced.
But the RA was completely random, probably formed by strangers, they can even speak different languages and it's almost sure that they do not have voice clients like a Team party may have. They were 'lucky' to get a party worthy of TA, but it was a random party, after all, that may be good enough for RA, but not for TA.
