PvE-Skills in PvP Weekend
Greetings everyone!
We all know, why there is a seperation between main skills and PvE-only skills. To be honest, the PvE-only skills are a bit overpowered, don't we all agree on that. So it makes sense that they are not allowed in PvP because of that. And logical that we can only bring 3 PvE-only skills in our bar during PvE.
But don't we all wonder what would happen if these skills could be used in PvP aswell?
Therefor, I was thinking of this PvE-skills in PvP weekend. So we can all see what happens if they would have been released in PvP.
Players will come up with new builds to use the skills and to defend against them. Perhaps even pure PvE-ers will be drawn to the Arena for once.
And to make things clear. I am not advocating the permanent addition of PvE skills to PvP. Just a fun weekend with some crazy PvP-ing.
I would have some fun during such an event for sure
What about you ?

As always, when it comes to bring awesomely unbalanced stuff to PvP, I only agree if ALL rewards are removed, so it is just for fun.
A PvP arena that allows PvE items would not grant Faction nor Exp, neither any other kind of reward, other than the fun of trying your builds against other characters.

I would not play GW that weekend... at all.
Trying to GvG with a balanced build against some r2000 team's Ursanway would ruin the game. And if that R2000 team got into the top 100 using Ursanway in one weekend, it would ruin the ladder, they'd have to freeze and reset... again.

maybe if it wasn't activated for GvG, TA, RA, HA, Fort Aspenwood, Jade Quarry, or HB. Oh wait, that just leaves Zaishen.... (if you call that PvP)

PvE -> PvP weekend.
I'd love it, unless that meant ANet had to do some heavy nerfing to PvE skills.
I suppose I should add a reminder though that PvP players would be at a disadvantage not having the PvE skills or ranks. Therefore, in PvP, the skills need to be set at some level or rank for everyone, which I would say should be whatever rank you can reach in NM.

Can't wait to see HA dominated by Ursanway. Might jumble HB up a bit too.

not if everyone had it.
This would be hilarious. Something like a "pve arena" where you can use pve skills against other players.

Just because it would be hillarious. All these noobs who think Ursanway is the sexzor would get destroyed by my buddies running a balanced build with save yourself, TNTF, and of course, an energy denial mesmer to ruin all the Ursans.

I would /sign for a permanent option for all unrated gvgs/scrimmages, just as a for fun thing. But as a weekend event for all pvp it would be really lame.

Screw ursan, if this actually happened people would learn to worship cry of pain. That skill gets so little respect
Even if TntF was up you cant save yourself from a team of echoed cry of pains going off in under a second. Game over in under 10 seconds, 20 if you spread out.

/unsigned because it's a stupid idea.
EDIT: I just remembered the Ursan skills hit through Prot, so the only real defence you'd have are snares.

PvE Only skills are for PvE, they were created because of all the PvE only people who cried because Skills they use get "nerfed" becasue of PvP. They have no place in PvP in any way, shape or form.
