The point of PvP is to win and have fun doing it.
Not grind for money in PvE (which the economist in me does enjoy).
PS L|S whatever your name is... many of us play both PvE AND PvP, rather then just play only half of a game they payed for and then insult a few hundred thousand people.

L|S does have a good point though, it's annoying when people use lame builds that are overpowered in PvE, making a single skill nerfed for everyone. Splinter weapon barragers were nerfed, People that needed recall for Shadow Form Farming got screwed, and not to mention deadly paradox...

I don't get it? Why do PvPer's need money?
Let's see. Your characters are instantly at Level 20 with no grind and are given max weapons and max armor for free. You don't even have to buy any skills. You are also given free skills in exchange for faction. These are all things that us PvE'ers have to fork out cash to get.

It surprises me that people would not think this an ok idea. I do farm for gold which how I keep my 10 characters going but it is such a waste of time. I farm for an hour and get 8k-10k. With this you would play PVP for hour and get what 1 to 2k. Time is money to people and let’s face not everyone has time for both. It would just be a small incentive to get and keep PVE players playing RA. Yes we have Z-keys which are great. But to think you can get rich on them is pretty foolish. Let’s say you get 3k a key if you sell. In the time it took you to farm 5k faction You can farm twice the amount in gold in PVE. It is not a get rich scheme it is just a small perk to play.

1. No, not everyone has time for both, hence there are Hard Core PvEers and Hard Core PvPers, as well as those who can prioritise and comprimise.
2. No one should ever be paid anything to RA, EVER
3. Then go farm gold in PvE and don't PvP
4. Perks are A) Balt Faction B) Emotes C) Titles D) Smack talk against real people E) Zaishen Keys F) Reward Points G) Gold Trimmed Capes H) Tourney Tokens (lol) I) And just for you Smith, EPEEN Spamming.
Bring on the Kittens please

Basically, the Z Keys were intended for a way for PvPers to get money, but they're near impossible to sell anymore, and the Z Chest only drops crap (After using 12 keys, only 2 were gold weapons (which were awful, btw), 1 normal tome, and 9 assorted tonics, firewater, brulees)
Anyone who wants to buy Z Keys, knows they're not worth 3k each, like they were selling for before. The chest is hardly worth opening, I know one person (alliance member) who got a req 11 Diamond Aegis, and that is the best drop from the chest I've heard from so far.
There should be a reasonable way for PvP players to get cash, but to do something like this, you would need a few major gold sinks,
Maybe double storage for 3k or something? Everyone wants moar storage!

Ok, here's the story about the PvE players that are ignorant, like quoted poster
In PvE, you want to find the most IMBA skill bar that can uber-pwn the mobs. In PvP, the same principle applies, although, there is dignity involved (anyone else remember how hard IWAY and ViMWAY got bashed? And Blood Spike back in Factions days?) People would rather run something thats fun to play, than run something thats the most IMBA. That is why PvPers call for nerfs on such things. We want to have fun.
PvP fun = having fun
PvE fun = IMBA raping mobs
imho, of course

Splinter weapon does too much damage, thats why it was nerfed. If it does too much damage in PvP it also does too much in PvE, just the AI can't complain about it. Shadow Form farming or any type of solo farming is overpowered. If you can take on a lvl 20 area designed for 8 people by yourself your build is overpowered.

If this was implemented you'd have bot farmers farming ra for gold instead of general pve.
