Unlucky points
Okay, here's my little suggestion. Raise the unlucky title requirements. Whenever your team reports a teamate for leeching or afk in any PvP gameplay, you get an unlucky point, and whenever you play RA without a monk or ritualist and your other team has a monk/ritualists you get another unlucky point.
I'm sick of wasting time vsing a well designed team that was RANDOMLY designed, and I get 2 afkers and a dude that's an ele monk with 3 healing skills, 1 smite, 2 fire, 1 earth, and 1 energy storage skill with crappy attributes.
Am I not unlucky when I get to vs a team with a monk and I get 3 people that can't heal and they get me that can't heal?
Same with Lucky title, if you get a ritualist or Monk in RA you get a lucky point, but only 1 point per round, so if you get like 2 ritualists and a monk as teamates you don't get points.
This only works in RA of course

I like the idea, but would that mean you also get Lucky points if your team in RA gets a good enough winning streak?

Being "Lucky" or "Unlucky" has absolutely nothing to do with the profession's that you get on your team. I had a team that had a mesmer, elementalist, me (assassin) and a warrior. We got 10 wins in RA and 3 wins in TA. I faced a team that had 4 monks and we squashed them in less than 3 minutes. What if the two ritualists you mentioned are playing channeling and the monk is playing smite? That is the problem with playing in RA, you get absolutely random teams. You shouldn't get rewards just because your team sucks. This seems to me like you want rewards for failing and it just doesn't work like that.

How would this encourage people to Leech? If they get reported they do not recieve faction and are punished with whatever it is

Okay, so it doesn't really encourage leechers to leech.
It encourages everyone else on their team to report everyone on the team so that they can get more points. It abuses the feature.
Not to mention this method has nothing to do with Lucky/Unlucky points. Those are to be gained through gambling or games of chance. If you have to gamble going into RA, you're doing it wrong.

Because leeching = report?
If not leeching it will cause abuse to the /report system, as if it isn't bad enough.

Eh... being reported it's more about being a bast... ahem... unpolite player then being lucky.
But it could be raised by 100 each time you die due to lag or connection loss, XD.

Abusing reporting is against the rules and involves that person that made the report to recieve the punishment.
and Random Arena is a game of chance, because you have a chance of getting decent players or not. I really don't see how it isn't.

I have no clue where you get the Lucky/Unlucky points. Been packing the same teeny tiny few points I have since the winter event of 2005 / 2006.
People in here are always saying good drops, bad drops, are a matter of luck. If thats the case, attach lucky / unlucky to drops in an instance.
Ok, you enter instance, move thru instance (quest, mission, farm), kill mobs in instance, leave instance. If no chest yields a gold item - unlucky. Three chests or more yields a gold item - Lucky. No monster drops a gold or green - unlucky. Two or more Gold items or one Green - Lucky. 75% of monsters drop something - Lucky. Less than 33% drop - unlucky.
This can be expanded, but I want to see if luck is a factor in the drops.
