Make cinematics like in GWEN
I've seen many people talk about this, but I didn't see an actual thread on it, so I figured I'd make it.
In GWEN, after we complete a quest, mission, etc. we see a cinematic. But then we can go to the Hall of Monuments and rewatch it. I particularly like this feature. I enjoy watching the cinematics. But all campaigns besides GWEN require you to actually finish the mission to see the cinematic, and you can't see the opening one for the mission again because that's after finishing the primary quest.
My idea is to be able to rewatch all cinematics in the game. If they were done in GWEN, which (from what I've heard) isn't as good as its predecessors, I think they should be done in all 3 campaigns.
Yeah this isn't a major issue, and some people may not want to watch them, but they could just be a free add-in like in GWEN so you wouldn't have to watch them if you didn't want to. If necessary, perhaps even pay in-game gold or something. And of course it could only be for missions/primary quests you've completed.
Not sure how it would work if you took someone into your Hall of Monuments to watch it, but I'm guessing if they don't have it done they won't be able to view it. Though I'm not sure who'd do that anyway. lol

wait, what?
as far as i remember, you can only see 3 cinematics at the pool thingy, and those are the ones related to the completion of the storyline (first vision, second, and so on), i dont remember being able to see the cutscenes, from let says, curse of the nornbear.

I can't stand cinematics in GW, maybe it's because I'm used to games that had good ones, like Diablo, HL2, and so on
They just seem so... unenjoyable

I'm fairly sure that at least in factions there is a person at the mission location that will offer tactics help and offer to replay the cine. Thats only factions I've never gone looking around in nf or proph to see if I could get them replayed. But if you like the factions cines you should be able to rewatch some of them.

I too am a person that really likes cinematics in games, my favorites are from the metal gear series, ninja gaiden, doa etc on the xbox because those graphics are beautiful, but the graphics on GW aren't really that great to rewatch. Maybe I'm use to xbox and xbox 360 graphics though. But it would be a good idea to have the option to re watch them though.

If you want a way to replay ALL cinematics, I'm for it.
It could be a new tab in the quest log.
Examples of cinematics you can replay:
- Factions Primary quests completion.
- Nightfall Primary quests completion.
- All eye of the North quest completion.
- All eye of the North intermissions.
Examples of cinematics you can't replay:
- Prophecies opening.
- Prophecies mission endings.
- Factions opening.
- Factions mission endings.
- Nightfall opening.
- Nightfall mission endings.
- Nightfall intermissions (Jin&Sousuke, Margrid&Wispers, Koss&Melonni, etc)
(There are no Prophecies primary quests cinematics)
It would be cool to be able to replay ALL of them.

/signed, I like the idea of a centralized NPC, maybe in the guild hall/hub cities, that will replay any already-viewed cinematic without having to redo the mission or reroll.
Or just divide them up by campaign. HoM for GW:EN, an NPC in LA, another in Kamadan, a third in Kaineng.

Sorry, no they don't. Checked them all and this is all you get:
Abaddon's Gate is the only one you can watch the opening cinematic. The others you can't, except of course in GWEN. And there aren't any opening cinematics in Prophecies, so it would only be ending or mid-ones.

Yeah you can see those as well. instead of clicking Show me past visions, click Past events, then click Norn, Asura, etc. and there you go.

Two posts above yours is a post listing the cinematics that can't be viewed later without replaying the mission. It was posted 3 hours before your post.

From the way this is looking, it is at least some form of fail, maybe not epic, but on the threshold

No. It's not. Actually it's a...
*fanfarre*
RETROACTIVE CHANGE SUGGESTION.
And, as we know, all retroactive change suggestions are good.
You can replay all cinematics in GW:EN, so you SHOULD be able to replay them all in the other campaigns.
They made the mouth moving change, and I bet that was quite harder.

This isn't really all that big a change. an NPC for each campaign would do the trick.
* Use the avatar of Glint @ Droks to allow her to tell you about the actions that unfolded along your journey (after having completed Prophecies on at least one character on the account)
* Stick a loremaster at the path after beating shiro to have someone repeat to you the steps along your journey through Cantha (or maybe just at Kaineng Centre to save having to beat Shiro ever time).
* Have an NPC at Kamadan who will tell you the events that unfolded to stop Nightfall (I say Kamadan because that's where you're sent back to at the end of NF)
A single Guild Hall NPC who will repeat any of the scenes throught your journey would be a welcome addition also.

I think you can rewatch some scenes in Factions, not that I want to, they are the most atrocious of the lot. Horrid script and worse voice acting.
I'd rather not ever see Mhenlo and Master Togo trampsing through the Cathan countryside again.
