Umm... that number would be 0, because they would all just roll a PvP character

Umm...no, it can't be better. You can get all the stuff you need for PvP with a PvE character. If you are UAX, and have every possible weapon/armor combination in the game, then your PvE character is just as good as PvP character.

I would like it if there was some armor limit to the lower level arenas...
Seriously... 15k armor on a level 7 in the Ascalon Arena... little unfair for those who just started the game and their armor is very limited.
But I have never encountered one without max armor aside from the fools who go in with no armor and 85 health and suicide on the enemy.

Really, an idiot is an idiot. You can make a max armor requirement and they could still strip right after entering.

It's a good idea, and would effectively work, because 80% of the PvE community that thinks they PvP gud because they farm real people would not PvP

I don't think you're allowed to take off armor once you're in a PvP match. I know for sure you can't swap them though.

Agreed with genofreek on that everyone has to start somewhere.

I think he was talking about skill and experiance level, not equipment.

so I can make a cool looking character but not have her/him in PvP because of what noobs do?
I say make the armor requirements count, but a ban for PvE in PvP? That's just stupid

No, I was talking about equipment. There's still some random items that PvE characters can get that don't have matches in the PvP item creation. For 99.999% of situations, a maxed out PvE would be exactly the same as a PvP char, but there still are more options for the PvE char, so you are still technically better off with one.
And, I guess you missed the "xD"; the top guild comment was supposed to be a joke, implying that most top GvGers use PvE chars. Or do you really think I think someone who PvPs wouldn't know what a PvP char is? =/

Like stated by genofreek and Dark Ganni ... it is and should be a starting / testing / training ground for pvp ... nothing more.
Realizing that non max armor is crap is part of the learning process as well, yes it is that basic in RA ...
You want Glad points? please go to TA
You want fun and don't care ... well you can have great laughs in RA ... and do yourself a favor don't call someone in RA a noob ... it's where you are allowed to be one.
