/Activate kitty mode for casuals. Sorry, but I can't agree with this at all. Every vet has had to struggle, endure, and move on. Frustrations enough to smash a mouse. We've all had our skulls caved at one point or another. This would be an insult to EVERY player that has worked hard to get better. .

I tend to see this as being no different as the players who cry because they can't attend one of the special events and how Anet shouldn't do it becuase THEY cannot attend. Or the ones screaming over the BMP and how unfair it was that they couldn't get it. I want a mini panda, I want a mallyx, why can' t I, I want, I wANT ME,ME,ME,MEME!!!!! -ME people.

You should look into buying Runes and Insignias for yourself AND heroes.

I'm sorry, GW in NM is 80% cakewalk, 10% be careful, 7% holy crap, 3% OMG! WTF!?! AAAAAAAH! HM only alters those number slightly.

If you are having excessive difficulty with a particular mission or aspect of the game, try changing either your party make up or build. Read up on wiki or guru for tips about specific missions. Often times, you'll find that a very frustarting and challenging mission can suddenly become quite easy when you approach it from a different tact.

There are easier areas of the game, but like most games, it gets harder as you progress. There may be one or two missions in each campaign that can be very challenging, but again check wiki for tips and you should be able to get through.

And those figure + PvE skills + Heroes becomes this:

75% point at the monsters and laugh, 15% stroll in your courtyard, 7% cakewalk and 3% careful.

This post hits it EXACTLY, except, for me it's more like "GW in NM is 50% cakewalk, 20% be careful, 20% holy crap, 10% OMG! WTF!?! AAAAAAAH!"

PvE is a joke in terms of difficulty.

I always thought "easy mode" was pre-sear and the noob islands?

/not signed

HM was implemented to INCREASE activity and keep interest in the game, why would they ever go backwards?

Someday (since there is 2 years till GW2) they may even need a Super Hard Mode but easy mode just is not happening.

This wasn't a discussion, glad you had some brain cells left to figure it out. ~.^

Well, I've completed all three campaigns and GW:EN and it wouldn't bother me in the least if there was an easy mode for those that needed it. I bet the fact that obsidian armor is cheaper now upsets you too.

Kinda like your quote above where you don't want an easy mode because it's a personal affront to you, you, you! BTW the bmp whiners are getting their way in case you haven't heard.

OK, I'm sorry, but what has her gender and her age got to do with anything? Sorry, comments like that from men who think girls can't play games just because they're girls, and need to be babied with comments, annoy the crap out of me.

Females tend to be either much better or much worse than males in games. And they are worse when they are not really much interested in the game.

You just don't knw them ,because if they said they they are girls all the time, some people may go soft on them, and they'll get bored. (Based on a true story)

Once you get all campaigns and all PvE skills, this game is much more fun than hard.

Just listen to other people tips, ask for builds and so on.

Ok, it's fixed now. I'd say this statement applies pretty generally and is (now) right on target.

NM is pretty easy.

If something is "too hard", find a way to make it less hard. If you're a casual player you shouldn't expect everything to succeed on a first try anyway ...

This is exactly the way I feel about PvE. Through about 80% of the game, I don't even use my skill bar, I just hit stuff, maybe do a bit of damage, and my heroes/henchies just slay everything for me. for maybe 19% of the game, I use my skill bar and help the party out a bit. For about 1% of the game, I experience a few deaths, maybe a party wipe, but in the end, the job gets done.

NM is a joke when it comes to difficulty.
