Completed Quest Log
Some people have suggested that I just make a copy from GW-Wiki and cross of my completed quests by hand, however I think it would be so much easier if it was part of the user interface. Because I have not thought about keeping track of my quests until now I am at a loss because I have nothing in my log and can't seem to find my next quest. I believe having a Completed Quest Log would be very helpful to everyone.
What do you think? How do you keep track of your quests?

why do you need this?
All i do is run up to anybody with an exclamation mark over their heads. If it comes up in the primary quests section then i follow the green dot, otherwise I take a look at if its worth doing and if it isn't i just leave it.
Occasionally i might cycle through the quests to see if theres an objective to be completed thats close to where i need to go for a primary quest, and if there is i complete it.
This basically means that i can finish quests without even realizing lol, since they usually just involve running around and killing/talking to things =P

There are some NPCs lost were Zehtuka lost his sandal.
And some will offer new quests once some prerequisites are fullfilled.
And some are 'secret' and only start after a cutscene or a dialog between NPCs...
It's not as easy as going to all outposts and talk to anyone. And you can't do that with 10 characters, since you may forget some, and thing that you has alrady mde others, since you made them already with other characters.
A mess with a reference.

an extra tab on the quest log could be added to show what quests you completed. It's a pain to run to a quest giver, finding out you already did it :\

I agree I would like to try and complete the entire quests series of each game... If only I could keep track of them...

I hate thinking "oh this quest looks good I should go get it" and realize I've already done it

That's what I mean.
You create 10 characters, 4 Prophecies, 3 Factions, and 3 Nightfall.
Without a way to keep track of the information about what you have already done, it's a real pain to keep track of the quests you have already made and what are you missing!
Just the other day, I found that the Zhed's Centaus chief had another quest for me after making the Desolation quests. And that was just a coincidence, because I was vanquishing there.

lol i'll never understand you role playing ppl =P
I see how this would make things easier if you wanted to do all the quests, but since there isn't a title for it right now, personally I'm not too worried abt secondary quests beyond lvl20
But good luck on your "Quest" =D

Quests are the things people do if they're not interested in titles. Title is grind, at least Quests give you some kind of purpose and direction. If I'm bored and need something to do I'll go on a quest I haven't done. It's more for the personal fulfillment, knowing that you have played the game to its fullest potential, than about having a stupid 'sticker' come up under your name.

Actually, people do quest for fun without silly roleplaying.
And its not like theere has to be title to make doing anything worthwhile or fun. /thou "did all quests" title would be neat"/
so yeah, /signed
/actually, some mmos go as far as not only showing completed quests but also avaiable quests - quests in areas you have access to but you didnt to yet/

They could make Xunlai agents tell the next quest available to a character from a list.
Once you have made all of the non-repeatable quets, the xunlai agent will tell you that.

A title for complete quests could be nice too, i can see it...
Savior of Elona/Cantha/Tyria/The North/Legendary Savior
But they are working at GW2 and GW1 is history...

It would be nice to be able to check if I missed any side quests.
